Doug's birthday part 1

I want to thank KamalalovezDoug for her help with writing this

A week later...Doug's birthday   December 13th

~8:30 am~

Kamala is in the kitchen, having her coffee and breakfast, when Doug came in he went to Starbucks. "Happy birthday Honey" she gives Doug a kiss

Doug- "thank you, I know how much you love the iced Mocha frappachino, and I wanted to surprise you and get one so you would have it when you got up, you actually slept in a little bit today, I was up at 7, and I went to Starbucks to get the birthday muffin reward and to get you your frappachino and when I got up you were sound asleep, so I didn't want to wake you"

Kamala- "not really, I've been up since 4:30, Kamryn decided that it was time for soccer at 4:30, I woke up because I had to pee, then I couldn't get comfortable again when I came back to bed, I didn't have my pillow, I moved it to the chair last night after I got out of the shower, when we had playtime"

Doug- "I remember, thank you for waking me up when you couldn't sleep, at 1:30"

Kamala- "your welcome, thank you for holding me and getting me a snack, I was craving brownies as usual, with hot fudge at 2:00"

Doug- "your welcome, I knew you were hungry when I went to roll over at 1:15 and I saw the kitchen light was on, so I got up and I saw you in here and I asked you what you were doing and you said making brownies, Kamryn wanted some with hot fudge"

Kamala giggles "she did she told me"

Doug- "she did"

Kamala giggles "I was telling you that I was hungry, and I was thinking do I want brownies or cake, and Kamryn was kicking when I said brownies, so I knew that's what she wanted"

Doug- "how about breakfast"

Kamala- "that sounds good, even though while you were at Starbucks, I had a bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and fruit, and now I'm ready for a nap, and to cuddle with you on the couch, Kamryn's napping right now, so I want to see if I can get some sleep"

Doug- "do you want to go on the couch or back in bed, which is more comfortable for you"

Kamala- "our bed at the moment, I know it's your birthday, and I planned to make you your favorite breakfast, but I don't have the energy at the moment"

Doug- "it's okay, it's only 9 am, we have all day to celebrate"

Kamala- "thank you, I want to make you a cake, but I need a nap first"

4 hours later... Kamala and Doug are in bed and she's waking up from her nap. "How was your nap"

Kamala- "it was good but I gotta pee, help me up, when I get back I want you to open your present from me, and Kamryn got you a present as well.

Doug helps Kamala up and she comes back a few minutes later, and gets back into bed and into Doug's arms.  Kamala gives Dougie a gift bag, there's 2 presents in this bag, one of them is from me, and one is from Kamryn.

Doug- "can I open them now"

Kamala- "yes"

Doug opens the gift bag and he takes out an apple watch band

and some ear buds.

Doug- "which one is from Kamryn"?

Kamala- "the apple watch band"

Doug- "Oh wow, thank you Kamryn, she already knows that I love the dodgers" Kisses Kamala's bump

Kamala- "I was shopping, while you were at work, I was talking to Kamryn and asking her what she would like to get daddy for his birthday, so that is from her''

Now open my present

Doug- "Thank you baby. I love it." gives Kamala a kiss

Kamala- "your welcome, I know how much you like the dodgers, and hopefully Kamryn, will like the Giants, they are the better team"

Doug laughs "Okay baby"
