We were working in our lab.. It was 6:30 p.m

Randhir sir - Sanyukta do it properly.... Slide ku theek se dhara.... Na hele nian sidha dress re laagiba...
( Sanyukta do it properly.. Slide ko sahi se pakdo.. nehi toh sidhe dress main aag lag jaayega)

Me - yes sir... I nodded nervously but damn I again dropped the slide...

I sighed and looked at Randhir sir who was just shaking his head disappointingly...

Me - sorry sir...

Randhir sir - do it again...

I nodded and this time with full concentration I performed the experiment again....

Finally it was done... We washed our hands and sat down for a break...

Randhir sir - So Sanyukta you like beaches right.. Toh lifelong emiti jaga re rahiba ku chahinba jouthhi beach achhi?
( So Sanyukta you like beaches right... Toh lifelong esi jagah pe rehna chahogi jahan beach hai?)

Me - ofcourse sir... Jadi possible hue mu toh Berhampur re hin rahi jiba pare parents nku b nei aasibi.. Infact I love Ganjam...
( Ofcourse sir... Agar possible hua toh main Berhampur main hi reh jaaungi and parents ko bhi le aaungi.. infact I love Ganjam..)

Randhir sir - hmm...  So chance mile toh ethi rahibare kichhi problem nahin right?
( Hmm so agar chance mile toh yahan rehne main koi problem nehi hai right?)

Me - yes sir...

Randhir sir - Ganjam ete kana pain pasand... Kichhi special reason achhi ki?
( Ganjam itna kyun pasand hai... Koi special reason hai kya?)

Me ( in mind ) - yes sir you... You are my special reason...

I really wanted to say this but....

Umm no sir not any special but sometimes we like a place without any specific reason...

Randhir sir - hmm ok... so paper publication pare jadi SRF mile toh tame eithu paleiba ?
( Hmm ok... So paper publication k baad agar SRF mile toh tum yahan se chali jaaogi?)

Me - no sir not at all... I always wanted to pursue my dreams under your guidance only sir... And now when I have this opportunity I won't lose it for anything sir.. but yes in future if you will plan to go some other University then I may also change my plans...

Randhir sir - don't worry I am not going anywhere... I have already spent many years away from my home so this time I have decided to stay here till my retirement.. it's my hometown, my parents are here and I am seeing my future here only...

Ok since both of us are not planning to go anywhere else I guess together we have a long journey to cover then.. Right??

Me - yes sir...

He gave a slight smile and as usual I just averted my eyes...

I was having dinner but my mind was lost in our conversation...

I know she is here because she loves me... But she will never confess..

I was busy in my thoughts when suddenly my mom shook me...

Maa - Ranu kana hela??? Kuade ete haji jaichhu ki re?
( Ranu kya hua??? Kahan itna khoya hua hai??)

Me - na maa se bas project katha bhabu thili...
( Nehi maa wo bas project k baare main soch raha tha..)

Maa - college katha college re hin tike rakhe and ghara ku aasi ki tike shanti re khai pi ki rest kare...
( College ki baatein college main hi thoda rakh and ghar aake thodi shanti se khaa pi k rest kar)
