"James? Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Reese said when she saw her ex-boyfriend on the grocery store,
"Ha? I'm here for work.. Natanggap ako sa isang company dito eh." he casually says, while picking fresh fruits. "And to win you back." he added.
"Alam mong hindi pwede ang gusto mo.. We broke up di ba?" she said,
"Pero hindi naman kayo kasal ni Lia, so may possibility pa!"
Reese shook her head, she would walk pass through James but the latter block her way.
"James, i'm not playing with you.. So please!"
"No.. Sasama ka sa ak-"
"Pare, bitiwan mo yung babae!" both of them looked on the man, it was Brian.
James let go Reese's arm, she went to Brian.
"Don't you dare lay your hands on Reese, or even Lia.. Makakatikim ka talaga!" he said.
"Ok, ok! But i'll get what i want.. You will see!" James flees from the store.
Reese's POV
Akala ko talaga makukuha ako ni James, mabuti na lang at sinamahan ako ni Brian to buy supplies. Nanginginig pa rin ako habang nakaupo sa shotgun, Brian is worried about me.
"Sorry kung na late ng konti yung dating ko ha, should've been there agad."
"I'm ok, Bri.. Don't worry, at ayoko din naman mag alala si Lia now that she's few weeks away from giving birth your children."
"Ano ka ba, they are yours too! Salamat sa lahat ng sacrifices mo sa kanila. Kung ako lang, hindi ko kakyanin." he said, he pull me for a hug.
"Salamat talaga, Brian.." hindi ko maiwasan na maiyak na, hindi naman ako emotional na tao pero ngayon lang ako nakadama ng takot at pangamba. Hindi lang para sa sarili ko, kundi para kay Lia.
"Tahan na, uuwi na tayo."
I fix myself, he start the car and went home.
"Hi, oh kumusta ang pag grocery?" sabi Lia habang naghihiwa ng patatas, i hugged her from her back and nuzzle my face on her neck.
"Ok lang, love.. May asungot lang na dumating." i said while giving her kisses,
Brian smiles as he put away the items we bought.
"May problema no.. Sabihin mo na, hindi ka kasi ganyan maglambing kung wala." kilalang-kilala talaga ako ni Lia, hehe.
"Nakita ko kasi si James, sabi niya nagtatrabaho na siya dito.. And he's determined to win me back." i said,
"As if naman hahayaan kitang mapunta sa kanya ulit, you're not in good terms di ba.. Saka hindi mo na kasalanan 'yon kung hindi niya tanggap na wala na talaga."
"Please don't stress yourself ha, i'll handle it." sabi ko, she pat my head and peck my lips.
