𝒀𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒋𝒖𝒏 had been ignoring beomgyu for some time now, even if he could still see how the male paid attention to him and what he did. it was all intentional, the distance, and surprisingly enough, it gave him an advantage for where he was and what he was about to do. the gargoyle wouldn't be able to stop him or try to convince him out of it. either way, it wasn't like the demon would change his mind, so the nagging wouldn't be effective even if the long haired was there.
the king walked with tranquility, the long trees and their jet black leaves occupied his view in what seemed like an endless forest. yadreliak. it was a weird and old name for the hell forest, a place were not many people went, not because of it's appearance though, as hell citizens actually found it pretty and comforting, but because of who lived there; bloody fairies.
the fairies with crimson colored wings were usually avoided, more from self preservation than fear. the species were gifted with beauty, an alluring and captivating beauty, one that could steal someone's heart in seconds and play with it until the person broke. they weren't bad people, in fact, most were sweet, but they liked games and were hard to fall in love, leaving their lovers most part of the time with an one sided love. blood fairies liked to seduce, to whisper in other's ears and made them want them, crave for them. and play things shouldn't cross the line and go to their forest.
yadreliak was sacred for them, their safe place and home of every blood fairy born in hell, so visitors weren't really welcomed. it was a shame, though, because the place was incredibly beautiful. the black trees were all tall, their trunks serving almost as a maze to the landscape where everything was the same, and bindweed with red colored leaves climbed around the trees, tiny and yellowy flowers dotting the leaves in a spaced and faint way.
the grass was crimson too, and a surprisingly big amount of fireflies flew between the trees, a light colored between orange and yellow leaving them. it was ridiculously pretty, and yeonjun's crimson and black figure seemed to fit the scenery perfectly.
he had his usual black suit, the common attire after he turned king, but the current one was made of lace, pops of his skin appearing through the small openings that took over the whole suit as a single button held the piece closed, showing his chest considerably. the crimson earring dangled from his ear and the big crown was rested on his head.
yeonjun stopped before the silver gates separating him from the blood fairies village, and pushed it open slowly, stepping inside. the fairies seemed to tense for a second with the unexpected visit, before realizing it was the king himself, glistens of both admiration and lust taking over their eyes. blood fairies could be all playful and mischievous, but they held an incredible loyalty and adoration for the new king, way more as he didn't neglected them like the last one did just because they lived in a secluded area. yeonjun was basically the common dream among the fairies, way more to young adult ones and with the spot for queen free.
"call your blood mother." the demon said to a fairy who was close enough to hear, running his eyes through both the place and the faces looking at him. 'blood mother' was usually an older fairy who had the job of taking care of the others, something between a mother and a leader of the village. it didn't take more then five minutes for a tall and slim woman, with a burgundy dress and braided long hair come into his view, she looked young and pretty, a warm yet sharp look on her green eyes and crimson translucent wings on her back.
"your majesty." the blood mother bowed, showing her respect, before smiling at the royal. "i'm scartla, the blood mother. may i please lead you to my house? i'm sure there is something your majesty wants to discuss."
"lee scartla, yes, i know. you've been blood mother for eleven years now, cousin of lee taemin." the woman nodded, turning around and stretching her arm, as to show the direction the red haired should take. when he started to walk, she accompanied him from behind, close enough so the talk wouldn't be interrupted. "i see his beauty comes from the family."
