Rap music blast into my ear from the air pod that's attached to my ear, adding to the adrenaline that floods through my bloodstream and thumps in my veins. Jab after jab that I deliver to the punching bag, the chains rattle fiercely under my aggression.

My body boiled with intense rage as I continued to channel all my frustration to the punching bag. It swayed back and forth from the hard impact.

The text my dad sent to me hours ago spiraled around in my head like a red neon light. He wanted us to meet at a restaurant in Rome. I still don't know what prompted him to send me a text for us to meet but whatever it was, I was gonna find out very soon.

Leandro Armani was a very cunning man. I had to be extremely careful when it came to communicating with him, who knows what horror he has planned under his sleeves.

I delivered a right jab to the punching bag and slammed my fist into it so hard that I'm sure after a few more hits, the chain could loosen and it would land on the floor.

"What's on your mind right now?" Nico leaned his body at the doorway of the gym while eating a bowl of potato salad, "You going to meet up with him or what?"

I stopped what I was doing and placed both hands on my hips, my chest heaving up and down from my rapid breathing. My muscles were sore from the amount of times I barreled my fist into the punching bag. My knuckles stung even though I had on boxing gloves.

I sat down on the bench and wrapped a towel around my neck, using the end of it to wipe the perspiration from my face.

"Yeah I am."

"You sure about that?" He asked with a mouthful of salad.

I nodded, "I'm sure. It's been weeks since he did anything drastic and I have a hunch he has something very terrible planned for all of us. The only way for me to get a hint of his plans is to meet up with him. Trust me, I'd rather die than do this but I have no choice. The man is psychotic and would go at any length to destroy his enemies."

"Just be careful, Blade." He told me as I stood up from the bench and sidestepped him so I could walk out of the gym. I heard his footsteps which meant he was walking right behind me, the loud chewing noises he made reaching my ears as we passed through a couple of hallways.

"I would. You and Manuelle should take care of everyone while I'm gone. He might use this opportunity to strike." I stated, jogging up the stairs when we got to the living room, not waiting for his reply. When I stepped into my room, the first thing I did was to take a cold refreshing shower and when I got out from the bathroom with a towel tied around my waist, Sienna was already seated on our bed with her laptop situated in between her intertwined legs.

"You sure what you're about to do is a great idea?" She asked without taking her eyes off the screen, the clacking sound of the keyboard resounding through the room.

"It's an awful idea, Sienna, but I have no choice. I need to know why he texted for us to meet." I specified, making my way over to our walk-in closet. My eyes studied the vast collection of clothes I had in here and finally decided on a blue and white plaid shirt, with black jeans.

"And is there something I can do that will possibly change your mind?" Her voice seemed a bit muffled since I was deep in the walk-in closet but when I stepped out, it became clearer.
