TW: This chapter contains self harm. I just wanted to let you know even though it's already indicated in the author's note. So if it's a trigger for you, skip the part if you see this sign *

I didn't make it descriptive enough just because of the young readers.

Third person's POV

Francesco D'Angelo laid on his hospital bed with a depressed look on his face. He collapsed a while ago due to the stress he had been under lately. His lung cancer was getting worse and he feared that his time to leave this world was fast approaching.

And worse, his daughter was still left in the dark about his illness. He felt guilty about it but figured it was the best way to go about things.

Francesco didn't want his daughter to worry about him. He never liked being a burden to his children. It gave them a lot to think about when they should be worried about their families instead. He has no choice but to keep his sickness hidden from her.

Manuelle found out due to circumstances. That's different anyway. He was a man and could handle things well.

He jerked out of his thoughts on hearing the door open. At first Francesco thought it was his wife returning back from the bathroom but then his mood grew sour when Leandro Armani walked in with an evil grin.

"What are you doing here?" Francesco gritted out in irritation, attempting to sit up on the bed but he was too weak to do so.

"Long time no see, Francesco. Don't get too worked up. I'm just here to inform you about something." Leandro chuckled, seeming to enjoy the anger in his eyes. He walked further into the room with his hands clasped in front him.

Francesco became wary thinking he was here to murder him or do something drastic. No one could blame him. One could never figure out what went through the ex don's mind.

His plans were usually unexpected, striking his victim in a way that left them in a mass amount of pain. The man was very strategic with his plans and would kill anyone who got in his way.

"What about? Last time I checked, we've got no business together so tell me what you're really doing here." Francesco scoffed. He hated this man more than anything in the world. The one thing he was grateful to him about was the union between Sienna and Blade.

If his daughter hadn't met Blade, she wouldn't have allowed her heart to love. She would have spent the rest of her life alone.

"Watch your words, Francesco. I might not be merciful to your son who just happened to foolishly walk into the lion's den." Leandro smirked with an evil glint in his eyes and stuffed his hands deep in the pocket of his slacks.

"What are you talking about?" Francesco's heart started to beat faster. There was no way it could be Manuelle. He knew the evil man well enough to not fall for his tricks and that could only mean.... No way!! It can't be. Salvatore.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about, Francesco. Your son. Sienna's twin." Leandro laughed like the expression on Francesco's face was fucking priceless. "Don't think I don't know about that. I know everything. The poor boy has been surely misguided by yours truly."
