Some 3-4 days went monotonously, Mineil getting up early and getting Arya ready for the school and then going to the restaurant. Serving for the corporate lunches and dinners and then coming back to the haveli, Neil making dinner while Mini teaching karate to Arya after checking her homework completed, Mineil sipping a coffee together in the balcony enjoying their silence and then going to their rooms to sleep. Their schedules were very packed. Mini was having meetings after meetings and Neil was receiving orders after orders as the restaurant was getting boomed with positive and encouraging reviews.
Everything was going just perfect in their professional life and they were enjoying it too, inspite of being so busy, as they were together. No matter how busy and packed their schedule was, but they were together and that was enough for them.
At evening,
After coming back to the haveli and the karate class, Arya excitedly came to the dining table.
Arya: Veerbalika... Tumhe pata hai parso ke din...
Mini: (interrupting) Arya aaj na hum bahot thak gaye hai... chalo pehle dinner karte hai...
Arya nodded and they ate dinner together.
Arya: Ha to ab to sun lo.... parso na....
Mini: (interrupting) Time bahot ho gaya hai Arya... ab sone jao warna kal school ke liye late ho jaogi... Mujhe to bahot neend aa rahi hai... Main sone jaa rahi hu... Jao jaldi tum bhi so jao...
Arya thought maybe Mini would really be very tired or else she never speaks like that so she agreed and went.
Mini saw her going to her room and turned to Neil excitedly.
Mini: Neil! You know....
Neil: (interrupting) Yeah I know!
Mini: So what's your plan?
Neil: Similar to yours with slight changes.....
Mini: Then what are your slight changes...?
Neil: Let that be a surprise....
Mini: WHAT?....Birthday chutanki ka hai mujhe to batao....
Neil: (nodding in a no) Ammm... Hmmnn...
Mini: Ok.... but don't tell her that you remember....
Neil: Hmmm... I know....
Next whole day, arya was disappointed as none remembered that its her birthday tomorrow and no one was listening to her too.
She got upset and went to her room in the evening.
She was in her room hugging the picture of her parents in her hands at night too and she felt hurt that neither Mini nor Neil came to mollify her.
Suddenly lights went out.
Arya: Veerbalika!.... mujhe dar lag raha hai..... mere paas aaao na please.......
Mini: Aa rahi hu Chutanki... Ya ek kaam karo... tum hi aa jao... main hall me hu... main board hi dekh rahi hu.
Arya: To Neil ko bhej do na.
Mini: Are Neil aayega to stool kaun pakdega... Aaram se aa jao.... daro nahi...
Arya came out of her room..... slowly...
Suddenly lights came back with a lot of balloons infront of her......Mini and Neil came from behind and hugged her happily saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHUTANKI/CHOTI MADAM"
She was much much happy.....she turned and hugged both of them......and cried with happiness....
Seeing her crying both became tensed.....Mineil: (holding their ears) Sorry agar achcha nahi laga to...
