136. Mini consoles Arya

They went to see her.

She was crying badly holding a photo.

Mini came to her while Neil was shocked to see her crying like that and stood on the door.

Mini hugged her but she retaliated and parted from her making her confuse.

Mini: Kya hua Arya?

Arya: Tumne mujhse jhooth kaha ki tum thik ho jaogi... koi tension waali baat nahi hai... Meine dekha tumhari kya halat ho gayi thi....(sobbing) Tum....Tum..thikse...saa...saans..bhi nahi le pa rahi thi.... Tumhe weakness bhi lag rahi thi aur dard bhi ho raha tha... Neil ne bhi kaha tha ki tum thik ho par tum thik nahi ho... sab jhooth bolte hai mujhse...

Mini: Aisa nahi hai Arya.... Tum galat samajh rahi ho... 

Arya: Saroj mami thik hi keh rahi thi uss din... Me hi unlucky hu... Mere paas jo bhi rahega vo mar jayega... Tum chali jao Veerbalika yaha se.... Nahi to tum bhi mar jaogi....

Mini understood her state of mind and tightly hugged her, consoling her.

Mini: Aisa kuch nahi hoga Arya.... Mujhe kuch nahi hoga... Meine doctor ko dikhaya hai na... Unhone bhi bola ki main thik ho jaungi.... Tum koi unlucky nahi ho... Kabhi mat sochna aisa.... Main hu tumhare saath aur hamesha rahungi... Ok?

Arya: (Sobbing) To...abhi...k...kya hua tha?

Mini: Vo meine itni badi badi medicine li thi na... to isiliye hua tha... Doctor ne bola tha ki aisa hoga.... Tension nahi leni hai... Kal tests ke liye ja rahi hu main...

She consoled Arya.

She looked at the photo she was holding. It was the photo of Arya, Neil and Mini which she took on Arya's birthday.

She held that photo and said: We are together and we will be together. No matter what. Ok?

Arya nodded.

Mini: Kab bol rahi thi yeh sab bakwaas Saroj Mami?.... Tumne mujhe kyu nahi bataya?.... Itni badi baat ho gayi ki Saroj Mami ne meri Chutanki ko unlucky bol diya aur meri Chutanki ne apni Veerbalika ko nahi bataya?

Arya: Unhone mujhe nahi bola tha.... vo story suna rahi thi jab aayi thi na mere birthday ke agle din... uss story me ek girl thi uske baare me bata rahi thi... par uss girl ke bhi parents mar gaye jab vo choti si thi.... phir uski two badi sisters thi... ek ki shaadi ho gayi aur vo dur chali gayi aur dusri uska dhyaan rakhti thi lekin kuch time baad vo bhi mar gayi.... kyunki vo girl hi unlucky thi... jo uske paas rehta tha vo mar jaata tha... 

Mini couldn't believe how Saroj Mami was using Arya's innocence and instilling fear with her words acting as slow poison. 

Arya: Mere mumma papa bhi to mar gaye na.... tumhara abhi accident bhi ho gaya tha.... aur ab tumhari tabiyat bhi kharaab ho gayi..... Jab unhone bola tha to mujhe laga yeh sab bakwaas hai aur mujhe tum hamesha mere paas hi chahiye thi... par... par... ab.... (holding Mini's hands in her trembling ones) Veerbalika... (crying badly) main nahi chahti ki meri wajah se tum mar jao... Uss din jab Neil ne mujhe bataya tha na ki tumhara accident ho gaya hai.... tab bhi main dar gayi thi ki meri wajah se tumhe kuch ho to nahi jayega na.... par usne kaha ki tumhe hosh aa gaya hai.... par ab tumhari haalat aur kharaab hi hoti chali ja rahi hai.... tum chali jao... bahot dur chali jao... main sambhaal lungi sab kuch khud... tum chali jao yaha se... 

Mini's tears rolled down her numbed face listening to her words, but feeling Arya's trembling hands on hers, she breathed in deeply and composed herself. She hugged her tightly and rubbed her back.

Mini: Shhhh... Aisa kuch nahi hoga... Yeh sab bakwaas baatein hai...  meri Chutanki mere liye bahot bahot lucky hai... Bahot lucky... aur dobara kabhi sochna bhi mat aisa ki tum unlucky ho... (cupping her face) are tum to jaanti bhi nahi ki tum to vo ho jo main hamesha se banna chahti thi... Meri Babes aur Hanuman Uncle ki beti... Meri Babes ke liye vo motivation ki vo apni identity banaye.... Jiski aankhon me meri Babes ne apne liye guroor dekhne ka sapna dekha tha... (wiping off Arya's tears) tum bahot lucky ho mere liye...
