Neil sat on her left side and he couldn't even hold her hand, because of the drip. He kept his hand on her head and looked at her emotionally with tears flowing down from his eyes. His throat was blocked.
Neil: (in mind) Mini.... Tumhe pata hai... yeh doctors bol rahe hai ki vo kuch nahi keh sakte jab tak tumhe hosh nahi aa jaata... Par mera dil keh raha hai ki tum bilkul theek ho jaogi... Haina Mini?... Aankhein kholo na plz... Tumhe pata hai na ki main nahi reh sakta tumhare bina?... Kal tumne hi bola tha na ki tumhe kuch nahi hoga.... Mujhe kyu tang kar rahi ho phir... Uth jao na... Plz... Uth jao....
He cried, closing his eyes but then finally heard her voice.
Mini: Babes...
Mini was half conscious and speaking due to medication.
He opened his eyes and she moved her hand. It fell off the bed and Neil immediately lifted and kept in on the bed.
Neil: (turning to the nurse) Mini ko hosh aa raha hai... Doctor ko bula dijiye..
Nurse went to call the doctor.
Neil heard her mummering something. He bent closer to hear and Bobby also came to her right side.
Mini: Arya... ko main kuch nahi hone dungi... Protect kar lungi main...
Neil: (got tensed and patting her head lightly) Mini?.... Tum theek ho?
Bobby: Arya ke time pe bhi doctor ne bola tha.... medicines ki wajah se badbada rahi hogi... Tension lene ki baat nahi hai.. Bol rahi hai matlab hosh aa raha hai yahi acchi baat hai....
Neil sighed and nodded.
He ran his fingers on her head, to relax her.
Mini: (Recognising his touch, smiled palely but relaxedly) Neil.... Tum aa gaye?...
Bobby smiled emotionally seeing Mini recognising Neil's touch even in unconsciousness.
He sat on the stool on her right side.
Mini opened her eyes lightly and his face got a small pale smile seeing her back in conscious.
Mini realised that she's in the hospital. Neil was bent closer to her so, she turned her face to him, her eyes were still only half open due to weakness. She saw him, looking at her, with that small pale smile and tears rolling down from his eyes.
Mini: tum hospital me..... kaise?
Neil: (heavy voice) Yeh to mujhe tumse puchna chahiye na... Ghar ja rahi thi... Hospital kaise pahoch gayi?
Mini was about to say something but the doctor with the nurse entered.
Dr: Plz wait outside.
They went out of the ward.
Dr came outside after examining her.
Dr: She's out of danger now. Aaj unhe under observation rakhenge. Kal tak agar situation stable rehti hai to aap unko ghar leja sakte hai. But because unke haath me sprain aur ankle me ligament tear hai. Make sure ghar pe bhi she doesn't exert herself. And only after 2-3 days, she should start walking little by little. Till then no long distance walking. 2-3 din tak jitna kam chalengi utna accha hoga, also with her heal down first.
Neil: I will ensure that Doctor.
Dr went.
Neil's phone rang. It was Lala uncle.
Neil: Hello Lala ji.
Lala: Mini kaisi hai?...
Neil: Hosh aa gaya hai... Doctor ne bola ki out of danger hai. Ek din observation me rakhenge aur sab stable raha to kal discharge bhi de denge.
Lala: Matarani ka lakh lakh shukar hai.
Neil: Arya so gayi?
Lala: Nahi.... gussa hai.... puch rahi hai Veerbalika kyu nahi aayi... usko bataane ki himmat nahi hui... kya batau... kaise batau...
Neil: Nahi aap mat bataiyega abhi... main aata hu thodi der me.... tab tak so jaati hai to theek hai.
Lala: Ok.
They went inside.
Nurse had took off her drip as it was not needed.
Mini had her eyes closed.
Bobby sat on her right side while Neil on her left side.
Neil caressed her hair.
She opened her eyes and saw Neil and Bobby.
Neil: Theek ho tum ab?
Mini: Hmm...
Bobby: Tera accident kaise hua?
Mini tried to sit, Neil helped her to get up and kept a pillow at her back.
Mini: Vo.... Achanak se ek bike saamne aa gayi thi...Main handle nahi kar paayi aur gir gayi.... Scooty ka weight aa gaya right side pe isiliye shayad strain ho gaya hai.... Paas me bada patthar tha... to chot lag gayi....
Bobby: Tu handle nahi kar paayi?... Par pehle to aisa kabhi nahi hua.....
Mini lowered her head.
Neil looked at her.
Neil: Mini?... Baat kuch aur bhi hai na....
Mini looked at him without saying anything and nodded lightly.
Neil: (held her hand in his) Kya hua?... Bolo....
Mini tightened her grip on Neil's hand but felt pain and winced.
Neil: Aaram se... (caressed her hand and blowed on it)
Mini: (lowering down her head a little) Vo...
