54. Neil's hidden talent

Neil: (giving the keys) Yeh spare keys rakh lo....ya Main lene aa jau?

Mini: (taking the keys) Koi drop nahi kar sakta hoga to tumhe bula lungi.

Neil: Ok.

She went out.

Neil closed the door and cooked the dinner.

He woke up Arya and fed her dinner.

She slept again being exhausted.

He came out of her room after putting her to sleep and shut the door.

He then went upstairs and opened a locked door.

It was a dusty room. He went near a wall which had his mother's photo and caressed it with tears in his eyes.

He took the vaccum cleaner and cleaned the whole room.

Neil looked at something and smiled reminiscing his memories.

It was the guitar, he used to learn in the school time with his mother.

Neil picked the guitar, and moved his fingers on it, recalling his peaceful moments of the past.

Then he remembered Mini's words.

"Ab jo bhi karo.... jee bhar ke karna Neil.... man bhar ke..... dil khol ke.... Zindagi baar baar mauke nahi deti."

"Live this moment to the core of your heart... Yeh particular moment phir dobara thodi na aayega..."

Neil: (looking at the guitar, talking to himself) Aaj bhi koi ghar pe nahi hai... Arya bhi so rahi hai.... Give yourself a chance again Neil.... Just you with your own music.... again.

He sat on the couch kept there and ran his fingers on the strings resulting in a beautiful melodious tune. He swayed his head with the tunes of the song.

Mini came inside from the door without making noise, not to disturb Neil and heard the sound.

Mini: Guitar ki awaaz?

She closed the door and moved towards the stairs.

Neil started singing with his tunes.

Abhi kuch dino se lag raha hai
Badle badle se hum hai
Hum baithe baithe din mein sapne
Dekte neendein kam hai (x2)

Mini: Neil gaana gaa raha hai?

She went upstairs and walked ahead of Neil's room, passing by some closed rooms. She saw a room's door open which was just next to another staircase, she peeped inside. It was a beautiful music room kinda space with a grand piano and a guitar space.

He was sitting on the couch with closed eyes and playing guitar in his hands.

Abhi kuch dino se suna hai dil ka
Rob hi kuch naya hai
Koi raaz kambakht hai chupaye
Khuda hi jaane ki kya hai

Ise pyaar ho gaya,

He swayed his head with the music being fully immersed in it.

Mini was surprised to see him enjoying something so immensely other than cooking. She clicked a cute photo of him silently.

Ise pyaar ho gaya,

She sat in front of him on the table and was looking at him lovingly while he was moving his head with the tune.

He opened his eyes in between and saw Mini sitting in front of him but thought it to be his dream. He smiled at her and sang with a slight blush.
