They reached outside Isha's house.
Keya was little sad.
Neil, Mini and Keya got off from the car and Keya ran to Neil.
Neil bent to her and she hugged him tightly crying.
Neil caressed her hair with tears in his eyes.
Mini also sat on her knees beside them.
Keya: Mujhe aapko chodke nahi jaana Daddy... Mujhe yaha bahot akela lagta hai.... Mujhe aapke saath hi rehna hai.... Hum saath me kyu nahi reh sakte?
Mini was taken aback with this question.
Neil caressed Keya's face with tears in his eyes.
Neil: Aapka jab bhi man kare mujhse milna ka to aap bas ek phone kar dena... Main turant nikal jaunga Patiala se...
Keya: Pakka?
Neil nodded.
Keya saw Mini looking at them.
She tugged her closer to them and hugged both of them tightly.
Keya: Main aap dono ko bahot miss karungi.... (parting) Aur mere vacations me main aa jaungi aapke paas... Ok?
Mini: (with a smile on her face and tears in her eyes) Hmm.. Pakka!
Keya's phone rang.
It was Isha.
Keya picked it up and kept it on her ears.
Keya: Hello Mumma... Hmm... Hmm.... Hm... Hmm... Par...
And the call get cut.
Mini was now able to understand why Keya was so shy and reserved. She never got a chance to speak freely. Isha had always been a free bird. So she is still one. And the repercussions are being faced by Keya.
Keya turned to the house but Mini held her hand.
Mini: Keya!
Keya turned back to them.
Neil was looking at Keya emotionally.
Mini held both her hands in hers and gave her an assuring squeeze.
Mini: Tumhe pata hai na.... Meri Cutu mujhse kuch bhi share kar sakti hai?
Keya nodded.
Mini: Jab bhi.... Kisi bhi time pe... Tumhe kisi se baat karni ho... I am there for you.... Tum kabhi bhi mujhe phone kar sakti ho.... mujhse kuch bhi share kar sakti ho....
Keya: Kuch bhi na?
Mini: Kuch bhi!
Keya smiled.
Mini: Always remember one thing. Agar kabhi bhi tumhe life me aisa lage ki tumhe support chahiye. Tumhare daddy hai tumhare liye. Hmm?
Neil looked at Mini and smiled.
Mini: Kabhi bhi tumhe life me aisa lage ki tum akeli ho.... to yaad rakhna tumhare daddy hai tumhare saath. Kabhi tumhe aisa lage ki tumse koi pyaar nahi karta.... to bhi yeh yaad rakhna ki tumhare daddy tumse bahot pyaar karte hai.... Ok?
Keya smiled and nodded.
Mini: Main aur tumhare Daddy hamesha hai tumhare liye.
Keya hugged her tightly.
Keya: Thank you Mi. Thank you so much.
Mini smiled and caressed her hair.
Keya parted and pecked her on her cheek.
Mini smiled brightly at her and pecked her on her forehead.
Mini: Hamesha aisehi rehna... Yeh bachpana jo wapas aa gaya hai na.... dobara khona nahi chahiye... Hmm?
Keya: Hmm.... Aap bahot acche ho Mi... Main kuch kehna chahti hu aapse...
Mini: Bolo.
Keya: Aapko pata hai mumma hamesha apne kaam me hi busy rehti hai.... unke paas mere liye time hi nahi hota... unhone kabhi mere saath aise pyaar se baith ke baat nahi ki... kabhi mujhe sulaane ke liye lori nahi sunayi... kabhi mere baal nahi banaaye... kabhi mujhe itna comfortable feel karwaane ki koshish nahi ki.... jaise aapne ki... Thank you Mi... I love you so much...
Mineil both were emotional listening to Keya as they could feel that she is so much deprived of the parental love, every child needs.
Mini: I love you too meri Cutu... Aur aap bilkul chinta mat karo... main na ek kaam karungi... lori record karke aapko bhej dungi.. aur jab bhi aapka man kare to aap phone kar lena mujhe... hum bahot saari baatein karenge... (chuckling to lighten up her mood) tumhare Daddy ke drame bhi bataungi main tumhe... hi fi do jaldi se.
Keya gave hifi and chuckled looking at Neil. Neil adored her lovingly.
They got up and started walking to Isha's apartment.
They rang the doorbell and Mini remembered about what Isha said a week back.
"Vo to pata chal hi jayega.... ki kya chal raha hai mere dimaag me... Kuch din ka intezaar..."
She didn't wanted Neil to spoil his good mood.
Mini: (to Neil) Neil! Tum Arya ke paas jao. Main Keya ko chodke aati hu. Keya, Bye Bolo Daddy ko smile ke saath...
Keya: (smiling) Bye Daddy.
Neil was confused.
Neil: (eye talk) Par-kyu?
Mini: (eye talk) I-will-handle-it-you-go.
Neil nodded.
He went to the car.
