72. Correct explanation of Equality

Arya and Keya were running behind Neil and they were playing together. Mini was with her camera, clicking photos.

Mini while clicking the photos walked backwards and the curtain parting the hall from the kitchen came under her feet and she disbalanced.

Neil saw her disbalancing and ran to her.

Neil: Are... gir jaogi...

Mini reflexively held the curtain but couldn't balance. She was about to fall but Neil held her firmly.

Mini: Thanks.

Arya: Ab yeh curtain khol dete hai na... ab to ho gaya surprise finish..

Mini: Arya abhi nahi...

Before she could complete, Arya had opened the curtain and Neil saw the kitchen inside.

Neil: (shocked) Yeh kya hua?

Mini: (scratching her neck in embarrasment lightly) Thoda sa messy ho gaya hai...

Neil: (walking inside the kitchen) Thoda sa?.... (looking around) Yeh to aisa lag raha hai jaise earthquake hi aa gaya ho... Oh My God... Kya haal bana diya hai tumne kitchen ka... sab kuch kaise bikhra pada hai...

Mini: (coming to the kitchen) Ha... vo... decoration bhi karna tha na... to reorganise karna ka time hi nahi mila...

Neil: Mini Madam aapne ek hi din me na kitchen ka to naksha hi badal diya hai.... ab clean karte karte to meri puri raat nikal jaani hai...

Mini: Are saath me karenge to ho jayega fatafat.

Neil: Dekhte hai...

Mini: Arya... Keya... (nudging on his arm) Chef Neil Oberoi ka kitchen obsession abhi phirse top most level pe hai.... thodi der wait kar lo tum log.

Both girls chuckled.

Neil: Ha... (nudging back on her arm) Kitchen ki halat bigaad ke ab mera mazaak bhi uda lo tum.

Mini chuckled.

Neil upfolded his sleeves and started cleaning the kitchen while Mini was organising the things again and also kept the remaining items in the fridge.

Neil had gathered the utensils in the sink and he started the tap to wash them.

Mini: Side hato thoda... main bhi karwa deti hu... jaldi ho jayega.

Neil was about to deny when Arya said in between.

Arya: Abhi Neil ekdum tv ke hero ki tarah bolega.... Nahi tumhe bartan dhone ki zarurat nahi hai...

Neil was surprised as it was the exact thing he was about to say....

Keya: Aur phir Mi bilkul heroine ki tarah bolegi... Aww... So cute...

Neil rolled his eyes as he knows, this, at least, would never be Mini's reaction.

Mini: Kuch bhi?... Kahan dekh lete ho tum log yeh utle pulte serial jo yeh sab bakwaas baatein sikhaate hai tumko?

Neil looked at Mini as it was also not the reaction, he was expecting.

Arya: Kyu? Isme kya wrong hai?

Keya: Ha... Hero heroine ko pyaar karta hai na isiliye nahi karne dena chahta usko aise ghar ke kaam.

Arya: Aur tumhi to kehti ho ki boys ko bhi ghar ke kaam karne chahiye... Equality hoti hai isse...

Mini: Boys ko 'bhi' karne chahiye... aisa nahi kehti ki boys ko 'hi' karne chahiye... Equality to tab hogi na.... kyunki jaise boys girls se kaam karwaate hai vo galat hai to usi tarah se girls boys se kaam karwaaye yeh bhi to galat hua na?.... dono ko ek dusre ki help karni chahiye....
