"I, Standing in front of you now, killed her!" [Hordy]

"I already knew it." [Shirahoshi]

That shocked everyone this time, including me, "Sh-Shirahoshi!"

"What?" Hordy asked in a devilish tone. He was clearly pissed, shaking in anger, but decided to calm himself down, "What do you mean, you already knew?"

"A few years after it happened... Megalo told me secretly." [Shirahoshi]

"Megalo?!" [Hordy]

"He did?!" [Jimbei]

"Megalo was owned by Neptune's army back then. And he witnessed everything on that day!" [Shirahoshi]

It was silent.

"I can't believe it. Princess Shirahoshi, why didn't you-" [Jimbei]

"If I told anyone–!" [Shirahoshi]

"...Someone would hold a grudge against Hordy-sama, I thought." [Shirahoshi]

'...'

"And that is not what Mother-sama would've wanted!" Shirahoshi had her head down, still trying to hide her tears, as the loud clanging of her chains pulled tightly.

"...That was the last promise we made with her. She told us that no matter who did it to her... we should not get angry or hate anyone!" [Shirahoshi]

'She's been alone, keeping this to herself, locked away in her room. No wonder she got used to me and Luffy quickly. She doesn't talk to many people except the guards...She's been holding back her hatred for the one who killed her mother... Such a hefty promise.'

Then, the next thing to happen made me the angriest I've felt in the past two years.

Hordy laughed.

I felt so mad I'd thought my skin turned red. His laugh faded into a cackle as Jimbei spoke up, "Stop laughing, you fool!"

"I can't help it! Hey, Megalo... if you had cried out right there, you could've drawn everybody's attention to let them know that I was the one who did it. So thank you for shutting your mouth! And thank you for only confiding in this dumb girl! If it were anybody else, we wouldn't have come this far!" [Hordy]

He looked up and pointed at her, "You know, Shirahoshi, you're pretty stupid! That's what we call those actions in this world!" [Hordy]

"Because of you trying to stymie your hate for me, this kingdom will fall. Because of you, Your fathers, your brothers, the dragon, the citizens, and you yourself are going to die!" [Hordy]

I don't remember exactly what happened, my heart spoke before my mind, but I opened my hand, made a trunk with Haki, and shot it so hard into the back of Hordy's head that he faceplanted and broke the cement below him.

As his head was in the ground, and he was only twitching, I turned to the only people who saw it. Shirahoshi, Jimbei, and Megalo.

"Shirahoshi! Don't listen to him! You did nothing wrong!" I yelled, and she looked at me with shocked and teary eyes, "What you did was valiant, and no one on this island can say they'd ever do the same thing!-"

"Shark arrows."

I didn't have enough time to react before the princes, the king, and myself, were all pelted with sharp drops of water. I eventually was able to use my Haki, but as I'm not an expert, it was flickering, so I was still hit with quite a few attacks.
