Synopsis: Differences and Similarities from the Greek goddess and the Avenger ( Also I can't remember if I already posted this)
Note: I didn't intend to make them similar in anyway and I didn't notice that I had until around HBP. I was on Tiktok and happened to see a video on Greek Gods & Goddesses and I thought it was funny that I'd done it unintentionally.
Similarities Between Persephone the Goddess and Persefoni the Avenger
1. Both kidnapped by Death
(Obviously for different reasons but both kidnapped by death nonetheless)
•Persephone was kidnapped because Hades was in love with her and he wanted her to be in the underworld forever
•Effy was kidnapped by Dumbledore because he was afraid of her power and wanted her to disappear for good
2. Both are ruthless towards those who wrong them
•As Queen of the Underworld, Persephone had the ability to send wild beasts to kill those who dared to wrong her
•Effy has no problem killing someone who wrongs someone she cares about
3. It is very easy to mistake them as Death
•Persephone while being queen of the underworld was still the goddess of spring and fertility
•Due to Effy's past it is easy to believe she is death but she was actually born to save everyone and her powers give her the ability to create
4. They both had different names upon their birth
•Persephone: Kore
•Persefoni: Cara
5.They have the power to send people back
•Persephone can save/exchange souls in the underworld
•Persefoni can bring people back from the soul world / Bring people back from the dead but only if they want to come back
