When Aurelia pulled away from Killian, the kiss felt different. She tried to chalk it up to the curse but she knew it was more than that. Something else was going on. She looked at him, as he stared up at her.
Trying to prepare for him to say something horrible to her she was shocked at what he actually had to say.
"Goldie?" he asked.
Aurelia looked at him confused. "I don't think you'd call me that if you hated me. How do you feel?" she asked.
"Fine. Maybe you were right. I really don't have anything bad to say about you. Not that I ever have" he told her.
But Aurelia was convinced something else was wrong. "Something's missing," she said, kneeling closer to him.
"What do you mean?" he asked, as she gently pressed her hand to his chest.
Before she could begin to put the pieces together her phone started ringing. Pulling it out she saw it was Emma and knew she was way past the hour she was given.
"I know you said an hour," she said as she pressed the phone to her ear. "Did you find him?" Emma asked.
"Yes-"
"Good. David and Mary Margaret are safe and Neal is with Anna. You need to meet me and Elsa at the ice cream parlor" Emma said.
"The ice cream parlor? But-"
Emma hung up before she could finish her sentence. "It's the Snow Queen isn't it?" Killian asked.
"Yes. But I can't just leave you here. Not like this. What if someone comes by?" she asked.
"I can protect myself" he told her.
"That doens't mean I'm not going to worry about you," she said.
"Hey. Look at me," he said, not needing his heart to still care about her. "You have to defeat the Snow Queen. And I know you can. I know you're worried about me, I worry about you all the time. But we both know you have to go. This is too important."
"You're important to me too," she told him. Pulling her into a kiss, Aurelia hated how she could feel like there was a part of him that was missing.
"Go," he said. "I'll be waiting for you when you win."

When Aurelia arrived at the ice cream parlor, Emma and Elsa were already there.
"Where have you been? We agreed on an hour?" Emma asked.
"I know. And I found Killian. He's okay. I mean kind of, he doesn't-" Before Aurelia could tell them that something was wrong with Killian, Ingrid stepped out.
"Stop!" Emma shouted.
"This must end, Ingrid," Elsa said. "Our magic is a part of us now. We control it and we control it really well" Emma said.
