When Killian made his way downstairs the last thing he expected to see was the horrible mess that was his kitchen.
"What are you doing?" he asked, looking at Aurelia who stood over the stove, a yellow apron wrapped around her white sundress.
Belle sat at the kitchen table, watching in amusement.
"Good morning!" Aurelia smiled as she looked at him. "I'm making breakfast," she said as a timer dinged. "Oh! Made breakfast."
"You...cooked," he said, watching as she took a tray of muffins from the oven.
"Well I know I'm not exactly great at it but I figured since I'm gonna be a mom I should practice," she said setting the tray down.
"Well they smell delicious," Belle said as Aurelia brought over serving bowls filled with food to the table.
"Thank you! The muffins are my mother's recipe. Everything else is this woman Martha Stewart. She's brilliant" Aurelia said before turning to Killian.
"Come on, sit. I even made orange juice" she told him.
"Shouldn't you be the one sitting down?" he asked.
"Don't be silly" she said, practically dragging him into a chair. "I think the baby is actually giving me more energy."
"That's possible?" Killian asked.
"Well that's definitely not happening to me" Belle laughed as the doorbell rang.
"Oh, I'll get it," Aurelia said, slipping out of the kitchen.
"Who's Martha Stewart?" Killian asked.
Aurelia pulled open the door and gulped seeing Gold standing outside.
"Mr.Gold! What a surprise! What are you doing here?" she asked, hoping she was speaking loudly enough for Killian to hear.
"Well, Aurelia, I was hoping you could tell me where my wife is," Gold said.
"Belle? Um, I haven't seen her" she said.
"Is that so? Because I used a locator spell and it brought me here" he said.
"Oh. Really? I...um-"
"What are you doing here?" Killian asked as he walked over, pushing Aurelia behind him.
"I'm here to talk to Belle" Gold said. "I know she's here. So just let me in before I let myself in."
"I know you don't just want to talk," Belle said as she walked over. "Why are you really here?"
"To protect you. To protect you both" Gold said, gesturing to his own unborn child.
"The only one we need protection from is you," Belle said.
"I'm afraid that's not the case. Hyde has escaped. And since he wants to use you as leverage against me, I have to make sure he can't do that again" Gold said.
