"Well, this is a surprise. What brings you here, Captain?" Archie asked as Killian took a seat on the sofa in his office.
"It's about David, actually," Killian said. "I'm worried that he still sees me as...what I used to be."
"A pirate," Archie said.
"The pirate that got his sister pregnant. I mean technically I am still a pirate. But you know, the good kind. And yet, sometimes...I think he wants better for Lia" Killian said.
"Hm. That sounds complicated" Archie said.
"Yep," Killian huffed, before pulling a small box from his pocket. "Well...it's about to get a lot more complicated."
Archie smiled as Killian opened the box, showing him the ring. "I see. Why, that's, uh...that's very good news indeed."
"I can't wait to give this to Aurelia. And now how important her brother is to her, especially with her parents gone. I need his blessing. And I don't want him to say yes just because of Cordelia I want him to think I'm genuinely good for her. I'm just trying to figure out how to ask him...and when" Killian said.
"Captain Hook buying a ring. I mean, that alone shows progress. Look, Killian, you're listening to your conscience now. And everyone sees that" Archie said.
"I don't think David does," Killian said.
"But if this is the only thing that's standing between you and Aurelia, then don't wait. I mean, life is too precious. And if you wanna know what David thinks of you, just ask him."

When David answered the door, Killian walked in wanting to get straight to the point.
"David. Uh, sorry for coming by so early. It's just, something I-"
"Hook! I'm glad you're here. I need your help" he said, dragging him over to a makeshift murder board, fit with red string and maps. "Tell me if you see anything. Any connections, patterns."
"This isn't what we talked about, mate. This is exactly why the Evil Queen gave you that blasted coin" Killian said.
"Look, I tried to fight it, but something...something happened today. I saw my father's ghost" David said.
"You entirely sure about that?" Killian asked.
"Yes, I'm sure. And don't tell me I need more sleep. I've had plenty, and I still saw him right there staring at me. I'd given up on him, Hook. What kind of son does that?" David asked.
"A son with a family of his own," Killian said.
"I can't abandon one family for another. My father was a weak man but he's still my father. And he deserves justice. Now, will you help me?" David asked.
