Aurelia hummed to herself as she pulled out a tray of blueberry muffins from the oven. The baby monitor sat to her right and she glanced at it, smiling when she saw Cordelia still lying fast asleep.
With Killian back, she was finally sleeping through the night again which meant Aurelia was finally sleeping through the night again.
When Killian walked into the kitchen he was taken aback by the sheer amount of food that had taken over their kitchen.
"Are you expecting company?" he asked.
Aurelia turned around and smiled, not even hearing him come in. "Good morning!" she cheered, greeting him with a kiss. "And no, just you. Although now thinking about it I might have made way too much. I was just thinking that since you've been gone for so long you probably haven't had a home cooked meal. Unless you have. Or if you're not hungry that's okay I can-"
Killian cut her off with a kiss, smiling as he did. "I missed you so much," he said.
"I missed you too. But you know I knew you'd come back. I knew you could never abandon us" she said.
"Sometimes I worry you think too highly of me," he said.
"Never. I know you. You're many things but you're not a coward" she said.
"What are the other things? And you better say handsome, captivating, enchanting-"
Aurelia cut him off with a laugh. "Definitely all of the above," she said, smiling as he pulled her into another kiss.
Neither of them heard the front door open a voice spoke up. "Oh, good. You're up!"
"Snow! Um,hi" Aurelia said, her cheeks turning pink.
"You really did everyone a key" Killian mumbled.
"Sorry," she said, giving him a sheepish smile.
"I know I'm a little early but I woke up this morning and it just hit me," Snow said before she finally looked up and noticed Aurelia and Killian still pressed up together. "Am I interrupting something?"
"No!" "Yes!"
"No, you didn't," Aurelia said, stepping away from Killian. "We were just um, making breakfast."
"For an army apparently," Snow said. "But you know maybe I should come back after you've had...breakfast."
"Don't worry. I've lost my appetite" Killian said to her before turning to Aurelia and whispering, "I have to go and have a quick and bracing shower."
"Well, help yourself. I kinda went overboard this morning" Aurelia said gesturing to all the food before she noticed the large white binder Snow had. "What's that?"
"Wedding planning," Snow said setting the book down. "I absolutely love weddings and as my sister in law I thought I'd help you plan yours."
"Oh that'd be wonderful! You know I've never even been to a wedding. I don't even know where to start" Aurelia said.
