Ling Wei took a sharp breath and look around, seeing them all being serious she decide to just bite the bullet.

"Ling Wei let me teach you!"

one of the boys said.

Ling Wei wanted to decline but he start explaining.

Ling Wei didn't listen at all, she just watches, when he start searching, then he grabs something.

when he raises his hand, he is already holding something.

Ling Wei almost fell when she saw a huge, squirming, living eel in the boy's hand.

she was thankful that Ling Bin is still holding her.

"See? this is how you catch eel, isn't it big?"

the boy asks while coming near her.

seeing the moving crazily eel, she hurriedly nods her head

"i-i see! i-i see! t-thank you!"

Ling Bin laugh then borrow the eel, the boy hand it to him and then he shows it to Ling Wei, comforting her

"Don't be afraid! it is not that scary! try touching it"

Lig Wei gets paler but she swallows her fright and then slowly touches the eel.

she squirms touching its slippery cold body of it and almost wants to cry.

"I think we should just catch loach?"

Sisi said while looking pitifully at Ling Wei

"I think that's a good idea"

Mumu agreed and so Nini, and Ling Wei look at her friends and decided to just agree to them.

"loaches are smaller and they are easy to trap, just follow us"

Nini said, so Ling Wei follow along, they fumble in the mud which makes Ling Wei want to squirm again.

but she swallows her disgust and keeps on fumbling until she touches something,

when she holds it up, she screams in shock and throws the thing away

the children panicked but seeing her throwing away the loach they laugh

"Ling Wei it's just a loach"

one of the boys said after catching the loach she threw.

she closes her eyes in shame and opens her eyes with determination.

"let's catch more!"

but this time she uses a basket to catch one because the cloth cant is used in a muddy field so she uses the basket as a trap.

and in no time they catch a lot.

but the boys don't have it easy, eels cant be trapped in a basket so they have to use their hands.

that night, she swear to never go with anyone to catch eels and loaches again!

she can dig the field, put organic fertilizers, clean the pigpen and chicken coop, make jars using mud, and catch bees but she cannot handle the soft, cold, and slippery eels and loach!

the days become faster and in a blink of an eye, it's already a month since she transmigrated, and, it's already time for Ling Bin's departure.

the papers are prepared for him beforehand.

"This paper is much good quality compared to the one you are using! it is up to you if you want to give it away or use it! I made a lot of inks as well! use it as much as you want or give it away your choice"

Ling Wei said

"I pickled and dried a lot of vegetables! give some to your roommates! also I pack a lot of fruits! don't get hungry okay?"

Cheng Waner reminders

"don't worry about us! All your brothers are already big! they are already a huge help"

Ding Cui said while tearing up

"big brother we will protect mother, sister, and grandmother! like you! we are already strong!"

Ling Han assure him

"eldest brother no one will bully our family!"

Ling He said while wiping his tears.

Ling Bin's eyes reden, after saying a lot and reminding them a lot, he departed with red eyes.

Ling Wei sniffs, trying hard to stop her tears.

when she arrived at that strange and unfamiliar and yet familiar world, it was Ling Bin who she accepted first.

most of her time is with him.

she doesn't have a big brother in her last life and only there she learns that having a big brother is great!

the whole family is down for 3 days before Ling Han and Ling He managed to pull her out of their house.

When Ling Bin returns to the academy, unexpectedly he bumps into a familiar old man.

"young man, are you a student here?"

Ling Bin didn't know that old man's identity but he remember him buying honey to him.

after bowing respectfully although he doesn't know the old man's real identity he answers politely and respectfully

"answering old master, I am a student here, I started 2 years ago"

the old man nod, then ask shamelessly

"didn't bring any new masterpieces with you?"

Ling Bin is frozen by the old man's shamelessness but still answers politely

"I am not sure about what master's want but, this student has ink and paper"

the teachers around were a little puzzled by their academy's chief sudden action of talking to one of the students.

they don't understand when this student meets the chief but seeing him being respectful without being flattering they thought that maybe the young man didn't know the chief's position!

"ink and paper?! show me! show me!"

the others just look at Ling Bin with disdain hearing him offer ink and paper but swallow seeing the old man's enthusiastic appearance.

Ling Bin unhurriedly brings out an ink jar and a ream of paper then offers it to the old man.

the academy chief eyes shone brightly when he saw the paper.

it is thicker, and its color is lighter! he touches it and the smooth feel on it makes him excited.

then he open the beautifully made ink jar slowly, and he saw the thicker and darker ink.

"young man! you give our country a huge contribution!"

Ling Bin froze then become nervous

"master this student doesn't understand"

the academy chief laugh aloud

"do you think that this is a small matter? come! come with me! i will explain to you"

then he walk away but turn back to take the paper and ink from the teachers who were studying it.

Ling Bin bowed at the other elderly and then follow the academy chief.

but before they left the chief a severe warning

"no one will play dirty under my nose! if I ever catch any of you! don't blame me"

the others shiver but swear that they won't do anything.

The academy chief snort, this thing is actually big.

if the ink does not need to grind, then it will be a lot easier for the students! and the paper is much more sturdier and lighter means the student didn't have to worry about copying everything wrong!
