Ling Wei was pushed out of the house right after breakfast.
She did not fight and just followed her grandparents' arrangement.
But she did not truly leave and instead stayed nearby and watched the house.
After more than 1 hour, a group of thugs came, obviously coming to make trouble.
Ling Wei's heart skipped a beat when she saw the group stop at her grandparents' house and start smashing.
Ling Wei turned pale when she saw her grandma pushed away and fell.
She hurriedly called the police and ran towards the house.
There were a total of 6 thugs, but Ling Wei was not afraid.
As an empress and younger sister of a general, she naturally knew some martial arts techniques.
The thugs were frozen in shock when they saw a petite girl running towards them and start attacking.
They were even more shocked after seeing her bringing their companion down one by one.
"Stupid! Stop watching and catch the girl!"
The leader shouted making the others move.
Ling Wei did not pause and kept on attacking.
Grandma Xue saw what was going on and almost had a heart attack when her granddaughter was almost hit by a baseball bat.
While fighting, Ling Wei still paid attention to her grandparents.
So when her grandma clutched her chest, Ling Wei panicked and forgot to dodge the enemy's punch.
Ling Wei was hit on her back but managed to stabilize herself and start fighting more ruthlessly.
Grandpa Xue found a chance and managed to escape from the thug and start helping her granddaughter.
Although he managed to fight one of them because of his age, he was at a disadvantage so even with great difficulty Grandma Xue helped her husband and successfully brought one down.
After the last thug, Ling Wei hurriedly came to her grandparents.
But unexpectedly the leader did not back down easily and stood up and hit Grandpa Xue with a wood.
Ling Wei shielded the fallen Grandpa Xue and received a hit on her shoulder but endured the excruciating pain and bit the leader until he passed out.
Ling Wei hurriedly picked up her phone to call an ambulance after seeing the blooded Grandpa Xue and extremely pail Grandma Xue.
"Grandma take a deep breath!"
She said panickly seeing her grandma's lips turning purple.
When the police arrived, some of the neighbors came to look and were startled to see the mess in old Xue's house.
"Sister Wei! What happened?"
Fu Mei asked shakily seeing them, she felt like crying, if their house was nearby this surely wouldn't have happened!
"I need to bring my grandparents to the hospital! They're in a bad shape!"
Ling Wei said hastily while looking at the police.
Before the police could react, the ambulance came.
"My Grandma seems having a heart attack! Please help her, My grandpa was hit by a wood on his head"
Ling Wei hurriedly said when she saw the medical assistants.
The medics did not delay any longer and started administering first aid to both of them.
"What about you?"
One of them asked but Ling Wei declined it
"Please take these thugs away"
She asked the police then explain what happened briefly before leaving with her grandparents.
The neighbors looked at each other and started cleaning up the Xue's front yard.
The Xue couple was pushed inside the emergency room to check their situation.
Luckily Grandpa Xue has only a slight concussion but Grandma Xua has to get a heart operation.
When Ling Wei heard the news, she bit her lips hard and shakily called her dad
"Dad, can you come to the XX hospital?"
Ling Chuan's hand trembled and asked again
"Weiwei?"
"Dad, something happens, please come quick okay?"
After cutting off the call, she stood outside the operating room, waiting for her grandma.
"Weiwei, what happened?"
Ling Chuan hurriedly asked his daughter.
Ling Wei took a deep breath before explaining everything.
"So you mean those thugs started smashing things in your grandparents' house right after they arrived?"
Ling Wei nod
"Dad, the thugs were already captured, maybe we should ask the police officers?"
She also has no clue!
Ling Chuan fished out his phone and called his assistant.
After making all the arrangements he cut off the call and looked at her disheveled daughter.
"Weiwei you're not hurt, right? Have the doctors checked on you?"
Ling Wei shook her head
"Dad, I am fine! I wasn't hurt, you go ahead and check on Grandpa! How you called mom?"
Ling Chuan shook his head heavily
"Let us call her after Grandma's operation"
His wife is a little too emotional he is afraid that she will cry hard once she knows about this.
But in the end, Ling Wei's mother still got the wind of it.
When she came, she started crying while asking her husband about the situation.
Ling Chuan explained patiently and seriously.
"How about Weiwei? She is fine right?"
"Weiwei is fine, she is guarding Dad in his room"
"As long as she is fine"
Su Xue said feeling relieved.
After a while, the police came with the news, and when Ling Wei was called out everything was explained.
"So you mean to say that this incident is connected to Mr. Hu Yi Sheng?"
Ling Wei asked incredulously.
"Miss Ling, the thugs only say that Mr. And Mrs Su should have sold the land"
Ling Wei laughed mockingly
"We understand officer, thank you"
The police nodded and turned to leave
"Mr. Hu!"
The officer greeted the new arrival person.
Ling Wei clenched her fist tightly, she wanted to question him and demand an explanation but, she didn't want to face him right now so she turned around to leave.
Hu Yi Sheng stopped her and said in a begging tone
"Weiwei, don't judge me right away, listen to me first okay?"
Ling Wei looked straight at him and answered coldly
"If anything happens to my grandparents, I won't end with you!"
"I will make sure nothing will happen to them okay?"
Ling Wei just snorted and left without a care.
