"And what about us, his wives, his children and Mata Kunti? Are we not his family anymore? How is he just leaving everything, his entire life, behind?" Satyadev sighed, hearing Indu rant about her brother as she made Chirayu sit on her lap

"And what about us, his wives, his children and Mata Kunti? Are we not his family anymore? How is he just leaving everything, his entire life, behind?" Satyadev sighed, hearing Indu rant about her brother as she made Chirayu sit on her lap. Yudishthir, Bheem, Nakul and Sahadev were busy talking to each other and decided to stay in the opposite corner of the room. They were gathered in Matsya, upon Indu's request, and were planning their next move.

"Maybe he's trying to figure things out?" He suggested, patting her back to which she gave a weak smile.

"Pranipat," Karn greeted, no one in general, as he entered the chamber. The four brothers smiled at him, holding guilty looks in their eyes. Indu flashed a huge smile to which Satyadev chuckled. He and Karn exchanged smiles before he sat down beside them.

Satyadev and Karn had bonded a lot during these thirteen years and considered each other good friends. And when Indu came to know of that, she was delighted.

"I didn't find Smika here today?" Karn brought up a topic.

"Oh, she's gone out with Uttar and Uttara, they wanted to bring gifts for me." Indu responded, knowing that she was eager to meet her daughter as well.

"Won't you meet your new nephew??" She asked Karn who raised his eyebrows at the young child "What's his name?" He chuckled to which she replied, "Chirayu. It's a complicated story about why he's here with us. Ask Arya whenever you're free." She smiled at him as he nodded. "Angraj," Yudishthir called. Karn smiled at him, walking over. "We wanted to inform you of something that had been troubling us for a while now," Yudishthir started as the brothers nodded. "We are ashamed of our behaviour towards you. No one deserves to be criticized on the basis of their caste, and neither is being of a lower caste something to be ashamed of. Maybe we got carried away, seeing your devotion to Duryodhan, whom we knew was wrong. Forgive us, if possible. If Indu considers you as her elder brother, so do we." The brothers joined their hands, giving him the respect they knew he deserved. Karn, taken aback, stopped Yudishthir in his tracks.

"The Samrat joins hands in front of no one," He smiled at them. His eyes grew moist at the gesture as he passed a smile to Indu, believing she had something to do with this. But when he looked at her, he saw her shocked but smiling. Indu, handing over Chirayu to Satyadev, ran over to her brothers and wrapped them in a hug. "Good job!" She was proud of them, genuinely.

"Uhm,"

Kunti cleared her throat, gathering everyone's attention. She smiled upon seeing all of her sons huddled together, not noticing Arjun's absence, but happy at Karn's presence. The Pandavas gathered around her, taking her blessings and hugging her. She cupped their faces with tears in her eyes, but Arjun wasn't there to wipe them, like always. A frown came onto her face, "Where's Arjun?"

"It's complicated, Mata." Bheem responded before Yudishthir could reply. They didn't need to dishearten her and they were aware of that.

"I'm just so happy that you all were accepting towards Putra Karn." She smiled.
