Day 2

Kurukshetra

Peace.

That was the only word which could be used to describe the atmosphere. Krishna, the Almighty, Arjun, the Great Archer and Indulekha, the Future One, all stared at each other in tranquillity. The motion of the clouds, the flowing of the breeze and the movements of these three people were all absent. Two of them were lost in thought and the Supreme Lord, anticipating their questions, stayed silent for a while before speaking, "Parth, do you know what Bhakti is?"

The two siblings looked at him with a wondering gaze.

"Yes, Madhav. Devoting oneself to their diety is Bhakti." Arjun answered, meeting Krishna's gaze. Indu's smile faltered, wanting to reply differently to the question.

The God nodded and looked over at the woman. "What do you think, Indu?"

She got caught off-guard by the sudden addressing of her. "I-I um, I think that Bhakti is loving Ishwar and understanding his actions. Having faith in him." She answered, shrugging and not entirely sure with her answer.

The God nodded, again. He smiled slightly at the two and said, "Yes. Bhakti is dedicating oneself completely to me. To The Supreme itself."

Arjun and Indu nodded, taking in his words.

"Dedication?" Arjun mumbled.

"Dedication? It's beautiful, Parth. It is a state of mind where one renounces his wishes, doesn't decide for himself and doesn't take vows. One that does the work given to him. Dedication is committing one's mind, knowledge, wits, desires, emotions and everything he owns to someone. And this dedication is called Bhakti."

Having seen the Vishwaroop of The Almighty had left Indulekha in a vulnerable state. Filled with pride, love and devotion for the God, she certainly had tears filled in her eyes as well. Exploring galaxies, seeing the world and experiencing this immense happiness just from gazing at the Lord's eyes was more than an unforgettable euphoria.

Indulekha sat in her chariot, now. Her brother was back on his chariot and so was his charioteer, The Supreme Lord himself. A sense of calm had washed over the battlefield, contrary to the bloodshed it awaited.

Indu stared at the sky, waiting for the clouds to move and give the signal of the time's flow. As soon as the clouds left their immobile state, the loud echo of conch rang around the field.

The army charged ahead, unaware of the conversation between the three warriors, forming the Krauncharuma Vyuh. Arjun and Karn stayed ahead accompanied by their Senapati, Satyadev and Sahadev on his right side with Matsya's army and Drishtadyumna and Nakul on his left side with Panchal's army. The Kaurav army, greeted by the sight of Arjun, got in their formation with Mahamahim at the head of the army and Duryodhan in the complete centre, sealed off from all sides.
