"Just... pick one." Gaten said, handing me a blue pen.
I was in the hallway, staring at the multiple options for extracurriculars.
"Do we have to?" Caleb asked.
"Yes. The Duffers said we have to." Noah answered.
Ecology, Basketball, Table Tennis, Embroidery, Engineering, Music, S&D-
"What's S&D?" Millie asked the question I was thinking about.
"Speech and Debate." Max answered before adding her name to the sign up sheet.
"I didn't know you were into that sort of thing." I said to Max.
"I'm not. But my mom wants me to sign up for, like, hundreds of extracurriculars because it'll 'help me get into a good college'."
"Wait, so, you signed up for Speech and Debate and...?" I questioned.
"Mrs Robinson always hangs up the Drama club sign up sheet late. I'm waiting for her." Max tilted her head and glanced down the hallway. "There she is."
