MANIK'S POV

"Arre Nyo aise nahi hoga. Pehle Ganesh Pooja honi chahiye na" aunty smacked Mom's head making us all chuckle while Mom pouted.

"Baccho ke samne thum mujhe kaise mar sakti ho?" Mom narrowed her eyes making aunty roll her eyes. "No problem! For them you might be their mom. But for me you're always my childhood bestfriend" aunty shrugged while Mom shook her head smiling.

"Accha aap dhono aise hi ladthe rahenge kya? We sat here to discuss about their engagement I guess" uncle raised his eyebrows pointing at me and Nandini.

We all were sitting in the living room to discuss about our engagement.

Nandini had her head rested on my shoulder as she kept talking to Mukti while I was scrolling through my phone.

"See them both! Unki engagement hai phir bhi they are least interested" Dad twitched.

"What?" me and Nandini sat straight frowning.

"Hum dhono bahut interested hai. And we would be excited when you all will be discussing about our engagement. Yaha tho Mom aur aunty sirf lad rahe hai" Nandini shrugged and I nodded.

"Accha accha sorry! So it's decided that day after tomorrow will be Ganesh Pooja. And then we will start the arrangements for your engagement" anuty said and Mom nodded. They looked at us and we nodded our heads too.

"But after Ganesh Pooja we will be left with very less time for their engagement na. Can we handle everything?" Navya looked at us confused.

"Ek kaam karte hai. Manik and Nandini will get married next year. Like this we will get more time" Cabir smirked making me throw a pillow at him while the others laughed.

"Iss tarah humare shaadi thak thum dhono ke bacche bhi hojayenge" Nandini gave him a fake smile while he shrugged. Navya smacked their heads making them pout.

"Yaar kaam ki baath karo koyi! And Navya when Abhi is here why fear? Sab kuch handle kar lenge" Abhi said wrapping his hand around her and she nodded smiling.

"So kal jaake outfits dekh lenge!" Aliya said making everyone nod their heads. "Pooja kaha hoga?" Dhruv asked.

"Ganesh ji ke mandir hai na humare ghar ke paas. Waha karenge. We'll go and talk with them today" Mom said.

"Accha tho abhi chalthe hai. We have alot of things to do" Dad said as he got up along with Mom.

"Hum bhi chalthe hai. We'll also look after the guest list" aunty said as she stood up along with uncle.

"Guests? Pooja mein koyi guests ko nahi bulate na. We'll keep it only for our family" Nandini said as she looked at me. "I'm fine with it" I shrugged.

"Okay then, as you both wish" uncle smiled at us.

"We are leaving now and expect to see you three in the office evening for the meeting" Dad said looking at me, Nandini and Abhi.

"It's their wedding time. Thoda break tho dedo" Mukti sighed. "Obviously they will be getting a break! This meeting is to lessen up their work" Dad said ruffling her hair and we smiled.

"But I guess we can manage..." before I could complete Mom smacked my head making me sigh.

"And my dear LoveGuru! Even you would be taking a break soon" aunty narrowed her eyes at Nandini making her nod her head immediately.

The elders left and our friends were back to their own discussions.

"Obviously I'll be the event manager for your wedding" Navya smirked at us. "But won't you enjoy our wedding? I guess you'll be busy arranging everything if you do that" Nandini raised her eyebrows making Navya nod thoughtfully.
