When Y/N woke up the next morning, she quickly got ready and then prepared to wake up Rodrick.

She sat on the edge of the bed beside him and gently poked his side. "Rodrick," she said.

"Hm?" he mumbled.

"Wake up," she told him. He sighed and slowly sat up, stretching his arms with a yawn. Then he got off the bed and went into the bathroom to get ready. When he came back, he was changed into brand new clothes.

"Ready?" Y/N asked as she walked over to the door.

"For bed? Yeah," he said. Y/N took his hand and led him out into the hall.

After a short ride in the elevator, they went into the lobby where the rest of their class was.

"Good morning," said their teacher. "Today we're going to a coffee shop for breakfast then we're going to The Clock Tower in Sighișoara —which is not that far from here— then we'll have lunch at the Transylvania Steakhouse. After lunch, we'll be doing a tour at the Bran Castle. Or as some may call it, Dracula's Castle."

Y/N turned to Rodrick with a smile. "We're going to Dracula's Castle!" she exclaimed quietly.

"Yay," he mumbled without enthusiasm. Y/N's smile faltered. "Sorry. I'm just tired," he told her as he took her hand. Her smile returned and she gave his hand a gentle squeeze.

After their teacher was done explaining the rest of the plans for the day, they went outside and into the shuttle.

Y/N looked out the window at all the old buildings surrounding her. "So cool," she marvelled, pulling out her phone to take pictures.

Even though he wanted nothing more than to fall asleep, Rodrick forced himself to stay awake to look at all the things Y/N pointed out to him.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the coffee shop. Rodrick took Y/N's hand and let her lead him out of the shuttle and into the coffee shop.

The moment they stepped inside, everyone was welcomed with the smell of coffee and freshly baked bread.

They all formed a straight line at the front counter and the cashier took their orders.

Y/N looked up at the menu. "What should we get?" she asked Rodrick.

"Whatever you want," he replied.

"I think you need a coffee," said Y/N, taking in his exhausted appearance.

His face screwed up with disgust. "Ew. I hate coffee."

"Really?" Y/N asked. Rodrick nodded. "Do you like tea?"

He shook his head. "I don't like any hot drinks unless it's hot chocolate," he told her.

Y/N scanned the menu. "I don't think they have hot chocolate," she said.

"I'm not that thirsty anyway. I'll probably have the breakfast sandwich," he told her, looking at the menu. Y/N nodded and they moved forward in the line.

As they stood in the line, Rodrick wrapped his arms around Y/N and placed a kiss on her cheek. She smiled and he gave her another kiss.

Suddenly, someone cleared their throat from behind them. They turned and saw one of their teachers giving them a warning look.

Rodrick sighed and reluctantly let go of Y/N.

Twenty minutes later, they got their orders and sat down at a table together. Their table wasn't too far away from where Ben, Barry and Lexi were sitting.

As Rodrick bit into his sandwich, he started to choke.

"Are you okay?" Y/N asked.

He nodded, eyes glistening with tears. "It's dry," he said through a mouthful of food. Y/N quickly handed him the water she had bought. He took a sip. "Thank you."
