Rodrick woke up before Y/N that morning. And that was only because she was lying on his arm which caused it to fall asleep. He looked down at her cuddled right into him and smiled. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head before coming up with ways to move his arm without waking her.

Slowly, he drew his arm closer to his side, causing her head to fall back on the pillows. Her eyelids fluttered and she looked up at him.

"Sorry," he whispered, brushing the hair out of her face.

"It's okay," she mumbled as she sat up and stretched. She turned to him. "What time is it?"

Rodrick peered down at his digital watch. "Almost seven."

She got up from the bed and made her way into the bathroom to get ready.

When she came out of the bathroom, Rodrick had changed and was going to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Y/N packed up her things before she started to make the bed.

"What are you doing?"

Y/N turned around to see Rodrick standing by the end of the bed, titling his head.

"Making the bed," she replied as she began to organize the pillows.

"You don't need to do that," he told her. "That's why they have housekeeping."

Y/N did it anyway, believing it was the right thing to do.

When the bed was made, her and Rodrick grabbed their suitcases.

"I don't know why you did it," Rodrick said as he opened the door for Y/N. "I mean, I don't even make my own bed."

She stepped out of the room and he followed her. "I think you should start working on that," she told him.

"Nah," he said with a smile. Y/N shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips.

They made their way down the hall and into the elevator. When the doors closed, Rodrick let out a very loud yawn. Y/N looked at him and tried to fight back a laugh. He smiled at her. "What?"

She said nothing. Instead she just ruffled his hair, making it more messy than it already was.

A few seconds later, the door opened and they stepped into the lobby. Some of their classmates were already there, handing in there keycards. Rodrick took Y/N and Lexi's key card —which he had taken as his own— and handed them up to the front desk before sitting down on one of the couches in the lobby.

Y/N stood beside him, her left hand fidgeting with her suitcase handle. Rodrick took her other hand in his and gave it a gentle squeeze. They shared a smile before Y/N seated herself beside him.

They heard an angry scoff. They looked up to see Heather standing by a vending machine, a pink suitcase beside her. In her palms it looked as though she were counting coins.

Y/N and Rodrick watched as Logan walked over to her, taking out his wallet. "Here," he said as he passed her some money. Heather looked at him and gave him a genuine smile. Logan's face went a bit red when Heather gently took the money from him. She placed it into the vending machine and picked out which drink she wanted.

"Thank you," she told him.

He nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, of course."

Heather opened her mouth to speak but was stopped when a voice said her name. She turned around to see Brad.

"Where were you?" he demanded. "I was looking for you."

"Sorry. I was just thirsty," Heather told him as she took her drink from the vending machine.
