Rodrick's parents are concerned about their son's grades so they get him a tutor. Rodrick isn't happy about this idea until he finds out he'll have the privilege of hanging out with Y/N L/N. She's his brothers' babysitte...
When Y/N and her mom knocked on Lexi's door, she opened it and enveloped Y/N in a hug.
"It's been forever!" Lexi exclaimed as if they were best friends since kindergarten who were separated during summer break. Y/N laughed awkwardly and hugged her back. Lexi ushered them inside and Y/N and her mother took off their shoes. Y/N took one look around and immediately fell in love with the interior. The walls were decorated with witchy-like tapestries and posters of artists like Kurt Cobain and Stevie Nicks. On some shelves there were crystals and books of healing spells.
Lexi escorted Y/N and her mother into the kitchen which smelt like cinnamon and sage. On the table sat ingredients to make a taco. Such as ground beef, shredded cheese, peppers, onions, jalapeños, sour cream, lettuce, tortilla wraps, hard shells and more.
Everyone seated themselves at the table and began assembling their tacos. Lexi's moms and Y/N's mom broke into conversation about little things like jobs, hobbies etc. Y/N looked around and smiled at how cozy she felt. Being in a room with all women who were non-judgement was so comforting. (The way I would end it all if I was in a room with only men. By men I mean assholes and creeps)
"Hey, Y/N, after dinner wanna come to my room?" Lexi asked. "I have face masks and polish and gossip."
Y/N smiled and nodded. "Yeah, of course." She bit into her taco which had everything she liked on it.
When dinner was over, Kendra cleared the table before placing a delicious looking dessert on the table.
"Oh this looks good," said Y/N's mom. "What's it called? I wanna make it."
"It's called sex in a pan," Kendra replied. "This is my first time making it. My grandmother always made it when I was younger." (If you hadn't had this, please try it. It's actually so good)
Kendra gave everyone dessert before eating her own. Y/N instantly fell in love with it. Her taste buds were sent to literal heaven.
When Lexi finished she grabbed Y/N's hand and led her into her room.

"Make yourself comfortable," said Lexi as she opened a drawer from her nightstand. Y/N sat down on the bed and looked around at all the posters, recognizing most of them. When Lexi was ready, she laid a bunch of face mask tubes and nail polish bottles onto her bed. "Take your pick."
Y/N chose the black nail polish bottle and a Freeman branded face mask, the scent being pomegranate. Lexi put the rest back and sat beside Y/N on her bed. "So nails first?" Lexi asked.
Y/N nodded. "Sure," she said quietly. Lexi took Y/N's hand and placed it on her lap before unscrewing the nail polish bottle and applying the black colour to her right thumb.
"So you know Ben, right?" Lexi asked.
"Ben Segal?" Y/N asked. Lexi nodded. "Yeah."
"So on Halloween when we went to Barry's we got all messed up and he started telling me how good I looked," Lexi said.
