                           Hiyori:Selfish.

It was almost time for the cultural festival to begin,President Nagumo decided to hold a trial, and Ryuen-kun decided to participate in it, which forced me to dress up and serve any customers we had.

I wasn't very good at being a maid, but I think I look good in this outfit even if it is embarrassing.

While I was reading a book and thinking someone walked into our empty café. It was Ayanokoji-kun...why did it have to be him of all people.. I tried to hide myself behind the book I was reading, but in the end, I failed and revealed myself. I knew he would ignore me if I kept hiding, but part of me wanted to see him.

I called out to Ayanokoji-kun, and he approached me. We started discussing the festival and our plans for it. Apparently, Ayanokoji-kun had something up his sleeve. Even when discussing something so serious as a school exam, I couldn't help but enjoy myself around Ayanokoji-kun... but he was dating Karuizawa-san.

Ayanokoji-kun asked about Ryuen-kun, and I told him my best guess. He was about to leave, but then he stopped and looked towards me.

"I've barely seen you in the library during our second semester. Did you stop going?"

Why did he have to ask about that? Ever since the day I found out, I've been trying to avoid Ayanokoji-kun, but he unfortunately noticed.

"No...I just go at a different time now so we don't get chances to meet. It's just bad luck."

I did go at different times now, but it wasn't due to bad luck.

"I see, that's unfortunate. It was nice to meet you here then."

I doubt Ayanokoji-kun believed me, but he didn't want to question me any longer.

It's not that I didn't want to see Ayanokoji-kun. But everytime we talk like this I end up having fun.. and then I remember that he's dating Karuizawa-san, and the guilt comes in. I shouldn't be this friendly with a boy who has a girlfriend, I'll only end up troubling her.

"It was fun talking with you, Ayanokoji-kun."

Just as he was about to leave, I couldn't help but blurt out a thank you. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I do. Maybe it's selfish for me to have this much fun, but I still wanted to see him more even if that was the case.
