The chaos in Ahmedaani haveli was insane right in that moment. Rabia has already expected this so she made sure they all settle down while she announces the news.
After all the men came from work and children woke up from evening nap Rabia called everyone for snacks in main lounge.
Zaira was the first one to come downstairs with her notebook in her hands. She was tired of doing the same work so as soon as she got called she rushed downstairs.
Mishi and Haadi joined in next. Hammad who was smirking all the time guided Haider downstairs aswell.
"Kia hua hai tujhe?" Haider asks Hammad.
"Mujhe kia hua hai! Kuch nahi." Hammad replied smiling.
"Koi shaitaani soojh rahi haina tujhe?" Haider asks.
"Nope! Aa to sahi neeche." Hammad said and dragged him downstairs.
"Kia hua bhabhi?" Hassan and Hatim came downstairs.
The other elders also joined them soon. Every one was here except Harib.
"Bhaijaan kaha hai?" Zaira asks once every one settled down.
"Yelo bhae! Bhaijaan hi nahi hai?" Hammad exclaimed.
"Bhaijaan ajj meeting me bhi nahi aye the! Office me bhi nazar nahi aye dhuper se kaha ha woh?" Haider added.
"Bari mama? App itna khush kyu lagrahi hai? Ye jo ap itna muskarahi hai kia baat hai?" Hamza picked up biscuit and asked.
Rabia who couldn't keep it any longer blurted out the truth happily.
"Harib shadi ke liye managya!" She exclaimed jumping in excitement.
"Hain?"
"Kab?"
"Sachi?"
"Bhaijaaan? Shadi? Mein nahi manta?"
"Dimag jagah pe agaya is larke ka?"
These were few of the voices that welcomed Harib.
"Bhaijaan!" Hamza rushed to him.
"Mama yarr!" Harib turned around wanting to leave right back.
"Nahi nahi! Idhar aye zara." Hamza turned him around.
"Ap shadi ke liye mangaye? Mujhe nahi bataya? Mujhe mein to apka favourite bhai thana!" Hamza exclaimed.
Harib made a disgusting face at him.
"Leken kisse?" Haider asks suddenly getting protective because he wanted him to marry Aiza only.
"Aiza baji se." Mishi exclaimed happily.
"Tumhe pata tha?" Zaira asks in hard tone.
"Ji! Tum office se ayi to me bhagte bhagte tumhe batane ayi leken tumhe sone ki ziyada pari thi." Mishi replied back.
"Leken apki purani girlfriend ka kia?" Zaira said her tone sad.
Everybody's attention snapped to her.
"Kon purani girlfriend?"
"Harib! Ye kis ki baat karahi hai?" Haroon stern voice snapped Harib out of shock. He was shocked at Zaira's words.
"Zaira!" Harib's tone turned dark.
"Harib!" Rabia said.
"Mama faltu bolrahi ha yeh! Mera khabhi koi affair nahi tha." Harib immediately denied.
"Sachi nahi tha? To app hamesha shadi ki baat sun kar itna gussa kyu krte the." Zaira said meekly.
"Toh tumne apni marzi se sab assume krlia?" Harib asked firmly.
"Nahi nahi sirf mene nahi! Hammad bhai ne bhi." Zaira immediately threw Hammad under the bus.
Hammad glared at her.
