Sup ya'll! Peep the title, this one's a major update. Also a sort of apology for saying I'd be fixing shit and not doing it. To make a very long story short, I got a new PC! However, because I got a new PC, all of my documents on my old one had to be transferred. During the transfer, all of my editing that I had done was gone! So, I had to scramble and get it back.
This is where the problem comes in. See, because all of my stuff was on my physical hard-drive (I know, foolish mistake) I had to get my old PC up and running again. However, my old PC was a hunk of shit. And when i mean hunk of shit, I mean that thing was built in the super early 2010s, meaning that shit took forever to boot up. So, okay, I get it up and running, I open my folder with all of my stuff for DLB, I open the folder to transfer it to the cloud and then: Error, cannot transfer to cloud. Not enough storage. I go "Okay, guess it's time to clear the storage" so I go to the cloud (this case the Microsoft one) open that bitch up, got to login and then: Wrong password, try again. I go "okay, guess I gotta reset the password" so I put in my email, go to reset my password and then it goes: invalid email address.
This goes on for another ten minutes until i try my old Middle School email address. Guess what, that was the correct one. Small problem though...
I'm 21 years old.
So, that means all of my shit that was on the cloud was on my MIDDLE SCHOOL EMAIL ADDRESS.
I had to get into contact with my old middle school, and see what was going on. In short, that stuff was deleted forever ago. But thankfully, Microsoft support are the goats. After talking to them for multiple weeks, jumping through hoop after hoop, I was finally able to get my shit back. The moment I did, I made a fresh account, linked it to my family's cloud storage to prevent this shit from happening again, and now fast forward to February 19th, 2025, when I'm writing this.
So, to make up this colossal fuck up the next edited chapter is going to be massive, mostly in part to the new direction I'm taking Volume's 7 - 10. So stay tuned for that.
