Mary looked up to the fight, it was always interesting watching the Ringleaders fight. Everything they did didn't seem to look like an effort, they didn't make faces, they were always swift in dodges and they never attacked unless they had a clear shot of hitting.

But Death Keeper were quick and agile, they had to be to catch souls before they became Wanderers, so actually attacking one was a bit difficult for OCD demons.

Mary attention was turned to another when Dr Carman Meres yelled out to attack. Mary only had a couple of milliseconds to dodge. The doctor had a knife to her name and she was determined to stick it through Mary's head.

Mary dodged all of her attacks, which for a human were pretty good. Mary suspected magic had rubbed off on her with how quick she was. But she was quicker. Mary's face was blank the whole time as she dodged, which mainly consisted of side dodges and ducking. She leaned back to avoid a slash and kicked the doctor in the shins. The woman hissed in pain as she went to attack Mary again.

Jason and Harold continued their own dodges, Jason occasionally slapping the axe swinger on the head with his walking stick. The man was completely deranged, he laughed hysterically and was so flexible the ringleaders questioned the solidness of his bones.

Harold was about to attack, when something pinged off his head. He turned to where it came from and went wide eyed, "shit!" he exclaimed as he was taken out by a storm of pebbles thrown by some Shades. He fell off the rooftops and disappeared to the ground below.

Jason was distracted for one moment, but one moment was all the Death Keeper needed as he lashed out, bringing the axe down on his shoulder, his intension to sever it. Jason managed to move enough for the axe not to disconnect his arm. But it took a great hack at his arm, making it practically useless.

Jason cursed when his walking stick was forced to slip from his slowly numbing hand.

Carman continued to swipe at Mary, her knife made contact with the brick walls several times, creating a spark from the friction.

Mary continued to jump and dodge, using the walls to gain height and flip right over her. Mary landed behind the doctor and wrapped her non-occupied arm around the woman's neck in an attempt to disable her. The doctor hissed as she swiped at Mary's arm with her knife and elbowed her in the stomach. Mary reacted by jumping back and simply making the doctor freeze in place as she held her gunned arm up and aimed at Carman. Carman's eyes glittered with sudden fear at the gun in her face.

"You wouldn't," she said.

Mary didn't react to the statement, but proved she could without a problem as she moved her aim a little to the right and fired several shots off. Making Carman jump and the knife slipping from her grip, she practically fell into tears, not disgusting tears, but more like angry defeat tears.

Mary remained with a cold expression, but her head turned to a walking stick that had clattered to the ground.

Mary narrowed her eyes in confusion as she looked up.

Jason didn't move from his place, too proud to run away, but the human body he lived in too stunned to move. The Death Keeper smiled at his power and raised his axe above his head to swing down. Harold punched the Death Keeper in the middle of the back between the shoulder blades. The Death Keeper reacted enough for his swing to be thrown off and it sliced against Jason's head.

Mary went wide eyed as Jason was forced backwards by the force.

"Jason!" Mary screeched.

Jason's body was suddenly frozen in mid-air as the Death Keeper caught Jason by the soul strings.
