I Needed to, I Had to

As if I never have left [M]

         I woke up with a warm feeling. At first I let my eyes shut but when I remembered what happened before I shot them open. I was in someone arms on  bed. I lift my head to meet Kai's face. He was sweetly smiling at me and playing with some strands of my hair.

" Hey~ you're awake? How are you?

-I'm fine...I think. I can't remember how I end here with you!

-I found you in locked in the refrigerated room." So it wasn't a dream. I was there for real.

" What happened Tiana? Who locked you there?

-I...I don't know. I was coming back to here and I felt something on my face and I blacked out. I woke up in refrigerated room...Alone...I was so scared to die there!" I couldn't hold my tears as I remembered the fear I felt at this moment. Kai gently wiped them and I don't know why but I felt the urge to look at his eyes and what I saw surprised me. I saw sadness, guilt and love at the same time.

"I'm sorry Tiana, I wasn't there to protect you! I promise Jason to protect you but I'm useless.

-Don't say that kai! I'm the one who was too upset and foolish. I was trying to keep some distance between us but It's only bring us problem. It's just that I'm so scared to be hurt again.

-Don't be scared. I want to take care of you because you're precious.

-Kai I trust you but...I just...You know a lot happened during these five years and only a few of what happened was great for me. I don't really want to talk about it now but I will one day don't worry. I promise I never loved someone else than you, I never cheated on you, I didn't leave for anybody else than me and you.

-I know! I know, it's just that I'm afraid of losing you once again. You know when you left I'm not the only one who was sad.

-Who else?"  He took my hand.

"My sister cried for two days. She almost beat me up for letting her beautiful and kind sister in-law leave. She said that I made you run away and I should have told you the truth earlier.

-And she is right!" I chuckled.

"Yes she is. After that she also didn't talk to my dad because she said that he has probably something to do with your departure but it wasn't true, right?" I lowered my head not wanting to answer to this. I know he won't like the answer. 

"He doesn't have anything to do with you leaving, right?"  I could feel the despair in his voice.

"Please tell me you don't leave just because of him...Please Tiana.

-I...I won't tell you that he have nothing to do with my departure....but He is not the only reason why I left. Your real status, your fiancé, your real life plus your hostile father...All of this was over-whelming for me. I just wasn't prepared to this and everybody seemed to want me as far as possible from you." He pulled me closer and kissed my forehead. I felt a heat on my face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know it. I didn't know you felt like this.

-I know and at first I wasn't blaming you...I don't know why I started blaming you for everything.
