I have a theory-a pretty obvious one that a lot of people think-that Bill has designed the bubble to make Mabel never want to leave! So, if they want Mabel to escape it and help them save the world, she'll not want it, because her world is everything she's ever wanted.
She knows that after everything is resolved, that she'll go home for school, to California, alone.
I think the main struggle will be making Mabel realize that her world isn't real and that the real world needs her help.
Sorta referencing to the title of part 2, that Mabel needs to escape from reality, her reality, that she created to make herself happy and worry free.
