When He's Sick

I'm skipping around the halls with Hanji for some reason since she's holding my hand. When I looked at her though, she does seem pretty happy today and I'm still not sure why.  
                      
It's a typical Monday afternoon and Hanji came to me skipping like what's she's doing right now and she asked me to come with her yet I agreed. "Say, Hanji. If I may ask, where you taking me exactly? If you don't mind me asking". Hanji looked at me and gave me a pretty much a peculiar look on her face. "Oh, I'm glad you asked, well, you see, I'm thinking of bringing you to one of my titan experiments that I've been working on recently. Hehe, it makes me giggle in the inside when I think about it especially the things you wanted to test on a titan", said Hanji as she laughed like a mad scientist which kinda made me half laughing and a bit nervous at the same time. I gulped and nodded with a nervous smile. 

'Man, I have a slight bad feeling about her experiments most of the time. Although, it might be quite fascinating if I could see it myself but Moblit said I have to keep my eyes peeled and make sure Hanji didn't go through any trouble on her experiments', I thought and sighed. 

Just when I was about look on the front again since I looked down slightly pondering little things, I heard someone calling us in a distance, "Section-Commander! I have some news!". We turned around and saw Armin running towards us with Eren by his side. When they arrived right in front of us, they panted and Armin said, "It's about Levi...you see, he's sick right now and we need someone to take charge of us in our mid-afternoon exercise". Both of us gasped and I thought, 'What? Levi is sick?'. 

Hanji pushed the bridge of her glasses and said, "Hmm. I see, I'll be there. Besides, Erwin isn't here since he went to Wall Sina for a meeting. You guys go on ahead and wait for me, kay? Tell the others too, just to inform them because who knows, they might be mistaken if the mid-afternoon exercise is cancelled". Eren and Armin nodded with salute saying, "Yes, ma'am". Before leaving though, Armin gave me a worried look and totally figured it out what he's thinking. I smiled hopefully and gave me a thumbs up. I turned to Hanji and said, "I'll take care of Levi, Section-Commander!". Hanji gasped and looked at me with a surprised expression. I looked at her on the eye and continued, "I really need to make him feel better, I don't want him to be sick which is making me a bit concerned of his health and besides, I'm his girlfriend after all so...". 

She patted my head and replied with a smile, "Sure, (Y/N)! I will allow you. I'm sure he needs a certain someone to be by his bedside, if you know what I mean? Hehe". I blushed and exclaimed, "Hanji! Seriously, you're embarrassing me!". She chuckled while Armin and Eren chuckled with her. "I'm just kidding, besides you guys can't do anything 'kinky' since he's sick", said Hanji as she gave me a reassuring look. That made me blush even more when she quote kinky so I looked away with a pout but other half made me concerned when she said since he's sick. "Good luck, (Y/N). For taking care of heichou", said Eren as he finally spoke and patted my head. I nodded and said, "Thanks! But...". When I look back at Hanji again I asked, "Where's the medicine? Hehe...".

*TIME SKIP*

When Hanji came back with the medicine I needed, she presented it to me and she gave me some supplies which I didn't asked for. "Here you go, (Y/N). I even brought you a bunch of supplies like a wet towel for example", she explained and smiled. I smiled back and said, "Thanks, I'll head over to heichou's office, kay? Good luck with the mid-afternoon exercise. I'll catch up with you guys later". Hanji nodded and both of us part ways.

I finally arrived at Levi's office and opened the door like I usually do. "Hello? Levi-", I said but I stopped after I close the door behind me when I saw Levi on the ground with his uniform on. I gasped and exclaimed, "Levi!". I placed down all the stuff on Levi's desk and crouched down to see if Levi is alright. He coughed and replied, "(Y/N)? What are you...doing here? Dammit, I can't believe I got sick today". I supported him by making him stand up and eventually I lay him on the couch nearby. He coughed again and I'm starting get worried. "Levi...how did you get sick?", I asked as I brushed away his bangs that is across from his face. 

He gave me a weak expression and said, "Tch, it's the weather, cadet. I was so pissed earlier when I found out about that and when Jaeger arrived in my office, he even made me even more pissed which literally made me put him in cleaning duty tonight because my head was aching when he came in blabbering about the mid-afternoon exercise! But good thing, I mentioned to them that four-eyes will be taken charge instead of me since I'm like this and Erwin is in Wall Sina having a meeting. Honestly now, I can't believe this would ever happened to me! I haven't got this frustrated for a while now!". 

But when he finished his long story, he sneezed and exclaimed, "Dammit!" I blinked a few times and gulped slowly, 'Woah, Levi is in heichou mode right now. I haven't seen him like that for a long time now ever since we became friends or acquaintances'.  

I sighed softly and said, "O-Oh, I see. Then, explain on why are you here on the floor? Don't tell me it has something to paper work again". He looked at me and sighed answering, "W-Well-achoo!! Hmph, excuse me. Actually, yes, I do have paperwork from Erwin and I really need to finish it before he comes back from his meeting but somehow I stumbled on the floor eventually when I sneezed and my head started to ache".

I gave him one of my worried looks and took out a tissue from the tissue box. I gave it to him and he naturally blew it. When he finished, he gave one odd look on his face and muttered, "Disgusting...".

I almost giggled from his expression as I brought out the waste can from the corner of his office. "Seriously, sir. You shouldn't be too hard on yourself. I mean look at you, you're sick. You shouldn't work while you're in that condition", I said but what I didn't expect was my words and it seem different which literally made me close my mouth with my hand. 

Levi looked at me with his stoic expression of his and replied, "Well, thanks for the stating the obvious, cadet (Y/N). Also, didn't I tell you to state my name since we're already dating". I laughed nervously and thought, 'Okay, things are really getting out of hand here. Man, I can't help but be amused but it doesn't matter right now. I have to take care of him!'. 

I made one serious expression and said, "My bad, Levi. Anyway, for now, I'm going to take care of you!". His eyes widened and said, "Huh? Wait, what about your mid-afternoon exercise with Hanji and the other cadets?". I gave him a confident smile and said, "Don't worry about that, sir-I mean Levi. Besides, you are my main concern for now and as your girlfriend, I'll take care of you! I can't stand seeing you like that and I'm worried about your health!". He blinked a few times and his mouth was shot for a few seconds. 

Just when I was about to get some more tissues, my arm was being grabbed which made me looked at him immediately. He finally smiled and replied, "Thank you...(Y/N)". My eyes sparkled and I can't help but smile again. He brought me closer to him which literally made me gasp, "W-Woah, hold on a just a second. I love you, Levi, okay? But I'm also sorry. Since you're sick, you can't kiss me on the lips or hug me like you always do everyday because I might get sick too, you know?". His face fell and he sighed nodding slowly. "Tch. Alright, I understand but...do I get to hold your hand then?", he said and asked as he squeezed my hand gently. My heart started beating and I swore I saw him blushing which is kinda cute. I giggled and nodded, "Of course, you do, heichou". He sighed in relief and said, "Thank goodness...and I love you too". So with that, I spend the whole day taking care of heichou so I can nurse him back to health although there are times where he wanted to kiss me again but I told him when he's better he can kiss me all he wants and also the times where I rush to him with lots of tissues whenever he sneezes.
