When You And Him Pick Baby Names

I have never done this before and it's my first time writing this so please bare with me. Also, this is the most requested one so here you go and I hope you look forward to it! "Okay, Mr. and Ms. Ackerman. Here are the results..."

The doctor that we are waiting for finally arrived with the results and Levi, who is by my side, just squeezed my hand while I smiled at him.

"Let's see what we've got here. Ooh, it looks like your condition is normal so you have no worries whatsoever and also, please make sure to be aware of what you eat too. The baby needs to be healthy and strong, Ms. Ackerman. But, we were are still not sure if you are having one child or more so maybe in a few months we will know"

I nodded at the doctor's words as I memorized every statement using my head without even writing it on a pad paper or notebook.

"Thanks for the info, doctor. We'll see you next time then", I said as both me and Levi stood up from the chairs and exited the room.

When we went out of the office, both of us held hands as we walked through the Capital of Wall Sina.

"My, what a day and did you hear what the doctor said, (Y/N). We might be having not just one child but two. What do you think? Do you think we'll have a chance?", said Levi as he looked at me.

"Hehe, thinking about it is pretty much making me happy inside. I really can't wait", I replied and nuzzled my cheek against his.

He blushed and looked away a bit from my sudden actions but deep inside, he adored it either way.

"Well, if that's the case. I have an idea since it's a bit early", he said as we stop by the same bakery where we go to all the time.

Both of us sat down and the wind was already present in our own lovely and peaceful atmosphere between us.

"What do you have in mind then, Levi?", I asked as I fixed my hair.

He stroked my hair and got closer to me as he lay his head over my shoulder as he replied, "Naming our child".

I tilt my head to the side as I looked at him while raising a brow and I never thought he bring up a topic such as this.

"Eh? Naming?", I asked.

"Yes. I just thought that if we plan on picking names now, we'll be prepared before our child is born", he replied and gently kissed the nape of my neck.

I smiled delightfully and said, "It's not such a bad idea. In fact, I was able to think of names for the past few days with my mom when I visited her".

Levi smiled back and I grabbed a note book from my hand bag that I've been carrying the whole time and started to flip through the pages.

"Although, the names that I picked were German names...", I said as I showed it to him my notes.

"German? Funny, I thought of French names...", he commented as he looked through some names that I listed, "Hmm, let's see those German names that you pick. If it's a boy, the name will be Leon and if it's a girl, the name will be Erna. Interesting...".

I nodded and said, "Hehe~ But what about you? What are the French names did you pick?".

"Me? Well, I picked Launce if it's a boy and...Isabelle if it's a girl", he answered as he sighed heavily to himself when he said the girl's name which I think I know why.

"Um, is something wrong, Levi? Is it the girl name you chose?", I said and gently brushed his bangs away that is blocking his handsome face.

"Tch, yeah but I do feel like this may be a good name if we ever get a girl. Agh, who would have thought that I will come up with name after somebody I used to know but on the other hand, I thought it will be fitting because who knows, we might have a girl that is really energetic and confident just like her"

I smiled and nodded nonchalantly while putting away the notebook on my bag and began to sigh as the wind began to blow the leaves of the trees.

"That's that. So, what it will be then, (Y/N)? Which name are we gonna pick for both genders?", said Levi as he looked up to see my face.

"E-Eh? This is tough but the names that we picked so far are really nice and unique but...I can't decide! Agh!", I said as I shook my head like nuts while Levi just lightly laughed at my antics.

"No decision, huh? Oh well. At least we picked some names and besides it's still early so no need to rush things here. We'll probably come up with decision very soon, kay? I mean we're just picking after all, right?", said Levi as he gently kissed my cheek.

With that, we decided to discuss this matter some other time and maybe before I give birth, we might be able to decide which name will be for both genders.
