When They Say Their First Word/When They Speak For The First Time

(A/N: This is requested by CarmenSureno, SavannahJaeger and EmpressEsdeath. In this scenario, Isabelle and Leon are about 2-3 years old already just to let you guys know. As always, I hope you guys enjoy and happy reading! ^^)

A few years had already passed and time was able to pass by so quickly because Isabelle and Leon just started to grow as toddlers.

Levi and I were training them to walk last week and it was a bit hard at first but once you kept going over and over like 'Come here, little one', they would be able to learn quickly. 

But, there's one thing that was stuck in my head for quite a while now. 

Since they have the blood of a Ackerman, I have a feeling they're going to learn a bit faster or maybe they will come up with profound skills coming from their very own father.

I guess that means they'll kick some butt in funky town, you know what I'm saying?

Anyway, back to reality.

The twins were playing with each other apparently for a while since I just finished reading them a nice story book that I just borrowed from the library and they seemed to understand it in a way.

Although, just by thinking about it makes me want to really know when are they actually going to speak for the very first time of their very own lives.

As a parent, it will be a very special encounter or experience. You know, just seeing they're child or children saying their very first word that comes out from their mouth.

Man, I would really love to see that.

A sigh was able to escape my lips and all of a sudden (or probably out of nowhere), the door was opened by none other than Levi and he seems to be pretty exhausted.

"Oh hey, Levi! Welcome back~", I greeted him as I stood up from the rocking chair and walk towards him. 

Levi's expression was able to lighten up when I approached him quickly and both of us shared a sweet welcome home/welcome back chaste kiss.

"Hey, love. Tch, it's been a rough day but Erwin said I'll take a day off tomorrow so I can spend time with you and our kids", he replied and gently sniffed my hair.

"Really? That's great to hear, hun. Do you want me to make you some tea like always? I think we still have some tea bags", I said and tried to remember if I do have the tea bags hidden in the drawers.

"Hmm, thank you. I'll wait here and say hello to the kids", said Levi with a nod as he patted my head gently with his hand and gave me a small but somewhat natural smile.

I giggled and just when I was about to leave Levi with Isabelle and Leon, I heard two high-pitched and cute voices that came out of nowhere which literally caught my attention quickly.

"Daddy!"

"Daddy!"

I turned and looked to see Isabelle and Leon approaching slowing towards Levi with their arms raised for him.

Both of our eyes widened as we heard their voices for the very first time and it was really a precious moment right there. I mean, their calling out their very own father and it was so cute!

Levi, on the other hand, finally smiled naturally with soft eyes as he crouched down and hugged them both.

I covered my mouth to not squeal just by witnessing this moment between Levi and the twins and I think my heart is already melting.

"Oh, you two. Come here. Up you guys go", said Levi as he carried them both which made them squeal and giggle at the same time then he started to nuzzle his nose against their's.

Argh, this too much! Now I really want to squeal. This moment just got even cuter than before!

I was about to squeal until Isabelle and Leon's heads were now focusing on me and both of them said in sync, "Mommy!".

Levi looked over to me and smiled just to say that I should come here and get closer too. I agreed and skipped over to them then I kissed each of the twins cheeks.

"Aww, did you heard that Levi? They called me 'Mommy'. That's adorable!!", I commented and finally let out a small squeal which Levi find it amusing and cute.

"Yeah, these two are just too adorable just by calling us that, huh? Let's teach more words in the next coming days. Maybe they will say something like Captain Eyebrows but who knows, heh", replied Levi and chuckled from his response.

I also laughed at his reply and eventually, we decided to have tea inside Isabelle and Leon's room so we could spend time with them during our free time.
