When You Give Him A Nickname

"Tch, put you're backs into it and I want this place to be spotless!"

Upon hearing Levi's request feeling all pissed off as usual from seeing dust everywhere, the cadets saluted (including me) and grabbed their feather dusters, windex bottles, rugs, and buckets of water so they could start cleaning the mess hall just because something came up right after the meeting of the higher ups.

I don't know how it got dusty in the first place but I guess we don't much of a choice.

I grabbed a feather duster and starting dusting away while I heard some cadets sneezing at the back of me. 

"Man, whoever did this-", said Connie but his sneeze interrupted him, "is drunk! They should probably at least take it outside or just go home".

We nodded at Connie's comment but I guess we won't know who did this but my theory is that maybe the person went out of town and got into a middle of something or probably did something at the stables.

"Agreed, besides it's making everybody sneeze and we won't be able to eat food here. Great, now that I think about it, I feel hungry again...aghh....", said Sasha as she began to pout for being hungry.

"But, Sasha, we just ate breakfast! Why think about food in a time such as this?", said Connie as he swept some dust making us cough.

"Well, sorry, Connie, I just have big appetite, you got that? I can't help it either way", said Sasha sarcastically and grabbed a rug so she could start wiping away.

Eren, Mikasa, Armin and I just sighed at their small argument but they'll chill eventually although what I'm pretty concerned right now was Levi.

He seems to be under weather ever since he saw the mess hall got dusty first thing in the morning. Maybe, I should do something just to make him calm down a bit and not get his actions out of the way because of his foul mood.

"I'll be right back, guys!", I told my friends which they agreed and ran towards Levi.

I gulped and almost felt intimidated from Levi's presence when I found him in the kitchen just because he's practically frowning right now and he's cleaning normally like he usually does.

I walked towards him and good thing he's alone too so, it might be a good chance for me to secretly lighten him up if possible.

But, what should I say? Oh, I know!

I took a deep breath trying to gain a bit of confidence and stood next to him while leaning on the wall with your arm saying, "Hey, good looking!".

That nickname I gave him was able to get his attention and finally turned to me with a surprised expression.

"Hmm? Did you just call me 'good looking', (Y/N)?", asked Levi and it looks like his foul mood was able to fade when he finally saw my presence and heard my voice.

"Well, duh! I mean, it might be fun if I gave you a nickname too like you did! And, I was thinking if I call you that, you're expression might...um...soften a bit? H-Hehe...", I said and started cleaning the floor with the broom while beads of sweat starting forming on my forehead.

Levi raised a brow but for some reason, he hummed and lips almost formed a small smile. I blushed brightly and starting sweeping away but I stopped when he closed the door of the kitchen.

"Um, why did you-ah!"

He stopped cleaning with his windex bottle and rug and decided to wrap his arms around my waist so he could remove my handkerchief on my mouth and plant a chaste kiss on my lips. 

My eyes widened and I dropped my broom on the floor with a thud. Well, looks like my plan worked.

"I never thought you would give me a nickname so soon but I really appreciate you gave me one, (Y/N)", said Levi and fixed my hair with his fingertips.

I giggled and said, "Thanks, but, um, I do have two more actually".

"Hmm, you have more?", asked Levi with curiosity.

I nodded and wrapped my arms around his neck replying, "One is Darling and the other one which is kinda my favorite, Hotshot because you're...a very....hot...corporal? H-H-Haha".

Levi blinked a few times and I can't believe I have a hot nickname like that but I wonder what's he gonna say about this.

Gulping, I decided to look away but Levi cupped my face and gently kissed my lips.

"Heh, Hotshot, huh? I think I like this that one. Mind if you call me that sometime, love?", suggested Levi as he tilted my chin so he could gaze at me.

A blush was started to form on my cheeks and before we could continue cleaning up all this dust, I nodded just to answer his question and shared a quick yet chaste kiss.
