When You Write A Letter To Him

"Hey, (Y/N)~What are you up to? You look focused I assume"

I gasped and stopped what was doing when I turned around to see Hanji behind me with her usual big and cheery grin forming in her lips. Beads of sweat were coming down on my forehead and a nervous smile was started to curl on my lips when I said, "O-Oh, S-Section-Commander Hanji!! I, uh, didn't see you there. What are you doing here? I'm...actually in a middle of something". Hanji giggled and playfully smacked my back and replied, "Oh, just wondering around HQ but I can say the same thing to you though, what exactly are you doing out here, my dear friend? You seem to be serious for a moment there and you kept on thinking and thinking like non-stop". I blinked a few times and thought, 'Wait, she was watching me this whole time? But she does look pretty curious what I'm doing. Sigh, I guess I don't have a choice'. 

"Um...you really wanna know what I'm doing out here, Hanji?", I asked.

Hanji nodded excitedly trying to get ready to hear me spilling the beans. I smiled and showed her a piece of paper yet I looked away with a blush saying, "Here. I'm writing a letter and since I'm a bit well shy to write it in a crowded place like the cafeteria or the dorms, I went out so I can have peace and quiet for a change". She gasped and grabbed the paper from my hand and examined it. "Wow, I never see you write letters in a while, (Y/N). But who are sending this to-". Hanji stopped talking when her eyes widened slightly. "Oh. My. Gosh!! Is this for heic-", said Hanji but I covered her mouth and checked if anyone is there but it turns out, nobody noticed or came by. "Shh!! He might hear us, Hanji!! And, it's not just a letter....it's sorta like a love letter to me. I know. I know but...I never gave him a letter before so I decided to give it a try since I heard he'll be staying to Wall Sina for a few days for a meeting with Commander Erwin and the other higher ups", I replied and my blush was deep scarlet. Hanji, on the other hand, squealed and hugged me tight. "I never thought you would do this!! Is it your first doing this sort of thing, (Y/N)? If yes, then I'm so proud of you!! Haha!", said Hanji and patted my head. I laughed nervously and nodded then afterwards, I was able to continue to writing the love letter I was working on when Hanji left with a friendly wink and wave. 

I finally finished my 'masterpiece' and I hope it might go well for me. I mean, I never see Levi reading letters like these before so I get pretty much tense or nervous on what will be his reaction or reply but I have to find out for myself. 

I arrived his office and decided to knock on the door for the meantime since he's in a busy mood right now. "State your name and business. And be quick about it, I have to leave soon", said Levi inside the room. I laughed and answered, "U-Um, it's me, L-Levi. I came here to deliver something to you. But! Don't ask why I knock, kay? H-Hehehe". After my response, I swore I heard a sigh but he answered saying, "Alright, you can come in, (Y/N)". I smiled and entered the room. When I looked inside, he's already prepared for going out. I closed the door behind me and said, "H-Hi". Levi looked over to me and said, "Hey. So, what are you-". He stopped talking when I rushed over to him and gave him the letter that is neatly addressed in the envelope with my signature on it. "Here you go, Levi. Oh, gosh. Look at the time, uh, I have to go now. Bye, heichou!! Take care!", I said and kissed his cheek. Levi gasped at my actions, especially when I kissed him, and he almost tried to speak again but he didn't when I already left his office.

Levi's POV

I already left HQ and I kept looking back from the horse carriage I'm riding on.'Hmm. What's with (Y/N) today? She's kinda acting jumpy and odd. She even kissed my cheek before she left the office. Heh, I can't believe she made the first move but on the cheek, very clever. But not only that, she gave me a letter as well which is unusual but since I'm going to be staying in Wall Sina for a few days, I guess I'm...happy that she wrote something before I left', I thought as I sighed and started opening the letter carefully. I took out the piece of paper from the envelope and started reading it.

'Dear, Levi. 

You're surprised that I wrote a letter just for you, huh? Teehee, I'm gonna miss you for a few days, Levi. I mean I've always spend my quality time with you everyday and it made me really happy. But don't worry, maybe once you return, I'll be in your office and welcome you with open arms and how about another date? You can think it over if you want before you leave Wall Sina and I can't help but think about it too excitedly since I love going on a date with you on weekends. And, please remember that I always love you so much, Levi, and I'll never let you go, kay? That's all and good luck with your meeting with Erwin and the higher ups! See you in a few days, heichou!

From, (Y/N)'

I blinked a few times and can't help but smile a little bit from the letter that she wrote for me. I placed a hand on my cheek so I can lean a little beside the window and thought, 'How thoughtful, she really put a lot of effort in making this letter and even ask me on a date. Of course. I would love to go on another date with (Y/N) and I'll be the first move before she does it'. I slightly smiled and looked out of the window thinking about (Y/N)and the date for the next few minutes while Erwin and the other soldier started talking about some plans that we, the Scouting Legion, will do for the future.
