When You Misplace Your Ring

Today is a normal weekend here in the Survey corp HQ. It was a normal day at first but my world has gone topsy turvy when I found out that something important was missing.

It's not my favorite food being sold out in town, my favorite shirt, the cologne I usually wear every Sunday but my engagement ring! I can't believe this is happening to me. I totally misplaced my engagement ring either during my arm wrestling match with Mikasa or probably when I finished my errand on Hanji's lab. I don't how but I guess I got carried away when I wear it inside the headquarters.

Dammit, no wonder some girls are preventing that from happening and just place it back inside the box. Well, looks like I learned my lesson. But, that's not the only issue that I'm worried about. I'm more concerned about what will Levi react to a situation such as this. I'm sure he's devastated when he finds out but I get the feeling it will be more than that like buying another one for me.

Yet, it's not the same if you buy the same thing though and when I saw the ring for the first time, I thought that maybe I couldn't replace it at all. 

Well, since it has come to this, I must find it and I can't even stand myself from misplacing a ring that symbolizes my love with Levi.

I got out of the girl's dorm right after I got dressed. I don't feel like myself right now but I do feel determined on finding my ring. I just have to remember the places I went to here in the headquarters and hoping that I might find it.

I was about to turn left until I landed on a broad chest and a pair of arms are wrapped around my waist. 

I gasped and looked up to see none than Levi, who seems be dressed up for some sort of occasion.

"O-Oh, h-hey Levi! How a-are you? H-Haha!", I said and both of us shared a nice and warm kiss.

Crud, speaking of Levi, I encountered him by chance and it's totally not worth it all in a situation such as this.

What should I do?

"Tch, finally. I was wondering where you were, I just finished my meeting for today", said Levi as he carefully brushed my hair.

"Hehe, that's great but, uh, what's with the outfit? Are you heading to town?", I asked and looked at him from top to bottom.

"Oh, this?", he asked and gently kissed my lips, "Well, I was planning for the both of us to go on a date before the wedding".

Wait, what? A date? Right now? This totally not my day at all since I don't have my ring!

"A-A date? Haha, really? What time are heading out then, Levi?", I asked and tried not to lose my cool.

He thought for a moment and then maybe about a few seconds, he answered, "Right now"

"H-Huh?", I said and I think my heart just dropped. Great, I would love to go on a date with Levi but not now! Not in a time like this!

I gulped and in an instant, I was able to come up with something so that way, Levi won't have an idea I misplaced my ring.

"T-That would be great, Levi! But, um, I have to find something first before we leave!!", I said and felt like my hopes of finding it before he notices is getting higher.

I let him go with a wave and ran towards the other direction with relief. I tried to find where the room that Mikasa and I were in but a strong hand was able to stop me from going nowhere. I gulped and turned around to see Levi once again and he seems to be quite confused or rather determined.
