When He Comes Back From An Expedition

The clock was able to strike at five o' clock in the after noon and It's been a few hours since the Survey Corps left the headquarters.

It was kind of quiet when they're not around and most of them were noisy, angry, hyper and jolly like Sasha and I was really used to that kind of atmosphere and environment ever since I joined the scouts. 

But without them here at the moment, it felt like the headquarters is pretty much peaceful and boring at the same time. Sigh.

Anyway, since all of my comrades, higher ups and my husband, Levi hasn't come back up until this moment, I was inside the bedroom getting ready to go out at Trost and browse around some stores in town since I was kind of bored now.

I brushed my hair as I looked at myself at the mirror and a calm smile was forming in my lips as I kept on brushing over and over.

'I wonder how everyone are doing. I'm pretty sure they'll back any minute now-'

My thoughts were cut off when I heard a group of galloping outside that caught my attention quickly and it could only mean one thing.

'Look's like I called it! They're back!', I thought as I threw my hair brush on the bed and decided to exit the office and forget about browsing through the stores in Trost.

When I finally arrived at the stables where everyone were parking (?) their horses, everyone were there but some were badly injured during battle.

I gasped as I found some who have bandages all over while laying down by the carriage of supplies and the rest were trying to escort them to the infirmary before their injuries could infect them later on.

As I walked through the crowd and to my relief, all of my friends (Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Krista, Ymir, Connie, and Sasha) were alright as I finally saw them panting with a small smile forming on their lips after all the slaying and slicing in the battlefield.

But wait, where's Levi?

I was about to wonder about his whereabouts until I spotted somebody arriving here with Erwin and Hanji and it turned out to be Levi himself. 

I smiled and ran but I stopped on my tracks when I saw him with a bit of bruises and cuts from his face and body which I wasn't expecting at all.

I gasped and quickly got back on my feet as I continued to run towards him after Erwin and Hanji left just to help out the other cadets.

"Levi!!", I exclaimed at a distance.

My voice was able to reach him and get his attention so he looked at me from afar and a relieved expression was written on his face.

When I finally approached him, I panted and said, "You're back! But, what on earth happened to you?!".

I began to feel a bit worried just by looking at him like that and I didn't know he would go through these injuries.

Just when I was about to say something, he wrapped his arms without a care if anybody is watching us and it began to tighten which made my eyes widened.

"Tch. Don't worry about me, (Y/N). I can manage...and besides, all I wanted right now is to spend time with my beloved and our child who is inside your stomach", Levi whispered on my ear and gently kissed my earlobe while massaging my womb gently which made my ears and cheeks go red.

"E-E-Eh!? Look, I know you missed me but your condition is what I'm worried about! Come on, let's go to the office and I'll tend your wounds, kay?", I said and patted his head with a cheerful smile.

He clicked his tongue as he looked away with a blush when I patted his head but deep inside, he adored my antics.

"Agh. Alright, (Y/N). You win. But first things first...", said Levi as he cupped my face slowly and gently kissed my lips.

My eyes widened from his sudden actions but I kissed him back and gently combed his black raven bangs that is covering his handsome face.

"And, since I promised you something before I left, here. I bought you this...", said Levi as he gave me a bag filled with food inside which is actually bread and sweets.

Just by looking at it made me hyper and jolly inside as I began to crave for food instantly.

"Oooh~ Thanks! But you don't need to go through this, you know? Well, just by looking at your injuries", I said and raised a brow with a smile. 

"Hmph, it's fine. But hey, I promised, right?", said Levi as he lightly chuckled before I could escort him back inside the headquarters so I could treat his wounds and spend the rest of my time with him.
