NOTE: Age update of the twins - 12 years old

NOTE 2: Like I said in "When He Teaches You His Language (Special Scenario)" - for those who are familiar with the language, I kinda used Google translate and other sources to use different words and phrases so if there's anything wrong with the translation whatsoever, I apologize and you can correct me if you want! Thank you! :3

"Dad!"

The twins visited the office with a jolly grin on their faces as they called Levi from the door. I smiled at them as they entered and both of them greeted me with hugs.

"We have something that we are actually curious about, dad", said Leon as he gently soothed Elliot before giving him to me.

"Alright, son", said Levi as he put away his paper works, "What are your concerns? I just hope that it doesn't involve one of the cadets bullying one of you because I swear-"

"No!", Isabelle replied and shook her head, "We're actually wondering about this!".

Isabelle brought out a book that looked somewhat familiar.

"Oh, isn't that...", I said as I pointed at the book and continued, "...the French book that you're always reading, Levi?".

It was the exact same book that Levi read when he taught me a bit of French before. I only a few words and its quiet difficult to pronounce the words sometimes.

Levi nodded at my question and his eyebrows raised slightly with curiosity.

"Oh, so you're interested into reading this?", Levi questioned the twins.

The twins nodded and Leon said, "I heard from mom that you speak and read French so we were thinking that we should learn the language too...you know for extra knowledge, haha~".

Leon scratched the back of his neck and Isabelle nodded with determination.

"Hmm, I see", Levi said and he became amused from their request, "Well, since I'm free at the moment, I might as well teach you now".

The twins cheered and gave themselves a high-five.

"I'm sure you'll join us too, right (Y/N)?", Levi turned to look at me with a lop-sided smile.

"Of course-"

My reply was cut off when Elliot was already crying on my arms and his face is getting watery from his tears.

"On second thought, I'll just catch up later. I have to calm down the little one first", I said as I quickly kissed Levi before getting up from the couch, "Give me a moment and have fun teaching the kids, haha".

With that, I left the room because of baby emergency and that just leaves Levi and the kids alone.

"Aww", Leon said with a sigh, "I guess its just the three of us, dad".

"Yeah, don't worry your mother will join us later so for now, I'll start teaching you some basic French words", said Levi and grabbed the book from Leon.

"Yay!"

- MOMENTS LATER - (3rd person POV)

Minutes had passed and Levi was able to teach Leon and Isabelle a thing or two about the French language.

"Je suis courageux", said Levi as he wrote it down on a piece of paper that is already filled a few words in French like fleur, arbre, Soleil, épée and more with check marks beside it, "Now you try it, you two".

"Je s-suis..."

"J-Je suis c-cour..."

The two of them are trying to comprehend the pronunciation but after a few seconds they finally said it at the same time: "Je suis courageux"

Levi nodded and patted their heads, "Good job, guys. Do you have any idea what it means perhaps?".

"Umm, I'm not so sure but courageux sounds like courage though", said Leon as he traced the writings on the piece of paper.

Levi nodded and patted Leon's back, "Its close but it has the same meaning. Nice guess, Leon".

Leon smiled at Levi and scratched the back of his neck.

"Actually, this phrase means I am brave. So courageux means brave in French", said Levi as he smiled at them, "I hope you two will say it to yourselves once you guys are saving and helping people in certain situations just like how I saved your mother".

They nodded and did the military salute.

"Oui papa!*", Leon and Isabelle said at the same time.

Levi wasn't expecting them to answer him in French but he was impressed. Very impressed.

He gave both of them a warm and comforting embrace and gently caressed their heads.

"Je vous aime tous les deux*", Levi replied to them softly.

Little did he know, you just arrived back quietly with Elliot sleeping peacefully in your arms and watched the fatherly moment with a smile by the door.
