i'm going to be a father.

i'm going to be there for my child.

but will i be there by my wife's side, or will i be by josh's side, if he even takes me back.

"ready to go?" jenna nods and i help her up.

today we're going to find out the sex of the baby.
i still haven't told jenna, but i don't think i even feel that way about josh anymore.

i think i'm actually starting to love jenna again. this baby, i guess i can say it's brought us back together somehow.

i only mean that because just a few weeks after jenna told me about her pregnancy she started to drift apart a little. but then when i took her to her first ultrasound, she wasn't so distant anymore.

but who knows, maybe if i do see josh again, i'll be able to see if i do still love him, or if i don't.

"ah the lovely joseph's, nice to see you two again. are you two ready to find out the sex of your baby." dr. nygard says as we walk into the office.

"ready as we'll ever be." jenna answers him.

"okay, lets get started." he puts the gel on jenna's small bump.

"well it looks like you two are having a boy. congratulations."

"a boy, we're having a boy!"

jenna's excitement soon gets put on a hold.

"hang on, hang on. it looks like you're having not just a boy, but also a girl. congratulations, you're having fraternal twins."

twins.

not one, but two.

two children to raise.

my life just got more complicated.
