"do you mind telling me what i'm doing here?" 

"you don't remember anything from yesterday, do you?" josh asks.

"no. but how 'bout you tell me and let me process that."

"and you just kept repeating that you couldn't go home to jenna, she'll be even more pissed at you." josh finishes explaining to me what happened yesterday.

"did i say anything else? like out of the ordinary?" please don't let me have told him about jenna being pregnant.

"uh, other than you trying to flirt or kiss me, there was nothing out of the ordinary."

"i tried to flirt and kiss you? i'm sorry." josh's face looked like it was filled with sadness, but he quickly made a little laugh in hopes of me not seeing.

"u-uh thanks." i can hear the sadness and how is voice sound like it's breaking.

"anyways, i think i should go, jenna's probably worried."

i turn around and as i'm about to open the door, josh speaks.

"i'm sorry you know."

"sorry for what?"

"for not giving you chance. all you really ever wanted was a chance."

"you have nothing to be sorry for josh. i'm the only one in this room that should be sorry. i put you in a situation that i never should've put someone who i love in."
