Mildew woke up from a horrible night sleep plagued with nightmares. His nightmares consisted of the destruction of his home by the hand of Hiccup and his army of dragons. “These nightmares must be a sign.” Mildew thought to himself as he crawled out of bed. His dear sheep, Fungus was still fast asleep so he quietly inched towards his front door. Mildew twisted the handle and opened the door. He was first expecting the beautiful view of Berk that he normally gets in the morning but was suddenly surprised. He was face to face with a dragon. “DRAGON?!” Mildew had screamed in terror. Mildew fell backwards hitting the floor hard. He groaned in pain causing Fungus to awaken.  Mildew cowered in fear and whimpered silently. After a few seconds Mildew uncovered his face and stared at the dragon at his front door. It was still, unmoving. “Eh? What’s this?” Mildew asked as he got up and examined the dragon. He tapped the snout of the beast lightly causing the nose to chip slightly. “Ice?” Mildew asked himself. Fungus nudged past him through the door. Once the tiny sheep was outside he walked straight up to the Ice dragon and licked on of its legs. “Fungus no.” Mildew warned. But it was already too late the sheep’s tongue was stuck to the ice. “Fungus!” Mildew shouted. He ran to his friend and tried to comfort him. “It’s all right Fungus, we’ll get you free in just a moment.” Mildew cooed. He began to hit the ice dragon in anger with his staff. A loud crack echoed and the leg of the ice dragon fell off causing Fungus to topple over from the new added weight. “Blasted Hiccup and those dragons.” Mildew groaned as he lifted the chunk of ice and Fungus. “Don’t worry Fungus we’ll just put you by the fire so it will melt in no time.” Mildew told his sheep. Mildew carried Fungus into the house and put him by the fireplace. “I’ll be right back Fungus.” Mildew stated as he went outside and closed the door behind him. He avoided the ice dragon and walked completely around it. “Wait till I get my hands on the fishbone.” Mildew spat as he made his way through the village. “Stoick!” He called as he saw the Chief in town. “Ah Mildew good morning, why are down here?” Stoick asked Mildew. “Your son and his troublesome friends placed a fake dragon at my front door! It almost scared me half to death this morning! I demand they come and dispose of it!” Mildew shouted. “Relax Mildew I’ll tend to it right away.” Stoick said as he tried his hardest to not strangle the ole man. Mildew then exhaled a deep breath as if to calm himself. “I want to see it done today Stoick.” Mildew said more calmly this time. “As I said Mildew I will tend to it right away.” Stoick said more firmly as if his patience was thinning. Mildew then huffed in aggravation and turned to leave. He made his way back to the top of the village where his house was. But when he returned the ice sculpture was gone. “What in the name of Odin?” Mildew exclaimed as he scratched his head in confusion. “Fungus?!” Mildew exclaimed in realization. He ran into his house just to see that Fungus was no longer stuck to a block of ice but sitting on the floor chewing on one of Mildew’s boots. “What’s going on?” Mildew whispered to himself. “Do you like how I cleaned up Jack’s little mess?” A female voice chuckled from the shadows. “Huh? What?” Mildew questioned as he raised his staff to protect himself. “Oh relax big guy, I’m only here to help.” The voice cooed. Suddenly a cloaked woman stepped out of the shadows. She had black curly hair, with a few strands that were gray. “I’m Gothel.” She introduced.  “Mildew.” He spat at her. “Charming.” Gothel huffed as she wiped his spit off her face. “What are you doing in my house?” He questioned. “Well you left the door unlocked and the fire was oh so inviting….” Gothel trailed as she sat down by the fire. “What are you really here for?” Mildew interrogated. “A little birdy told me you hate dragons, yet you live on an island infested with them. Pray tell why do you stay here?” Gothel stated. “My family has lived here since the beginning and I don’t plan on leaving.” Mildew answered. “What if I told you I could help with your little dragon problem?” Gothel stated. Mildew’s whole figure perked up at her words. “Go on.” Mildew insisted. “I can guarantee that every dragon will be slain, if and only if you help me with something.” Gothel proposed. “A deal?” Mildew said as he scratched his chin curiously. “What is it you want me to do?” Mildew asked. “Take me to Outcast Island.” Gothel answered. Mildew stood in silence for a few moments as if he was contemplating the deal. “Done.” Mildew said as he offered his hand to Gothel. She leaned away in disgust. “I’ll just take your word for it.” Gothel stated. “When can we leave?” Gothel stated. “Right away.” Mildew answered. “Perfect.” Gothel said. Mildew and Gothel left that very moment. They took a small ship off the coast of Berk. They were sailing under the veil of early morning and a light fog so they went unnoticed. They spent the in silence other than going into detail about the deal. Gothel had told Mildew of her deal with Pitch Black. He seemed to think it was a little far-fetched but he knew better than to second guess. He agreed to get her to Outcast Island and to work under Pitch secretly but only if the destruction of dragons everyone would happen. In about half a day the two reached Outcast Island smoothly. The moment they docked they were surrounded by outcasts. “Well hello there big boys.” Gothel flirted. The outcasts instantly relaxed when they realized she was flirting. “Let me through!” A deep voice commanded. Suddenly a large figure pushed past the other outcasts. When the man laid eyes on Gothel he laughed to himself. “And what would a pretty woman like yourself doing on an island filled with well….. outcasts?” He stated. “I’m here to speak with the leader of the outcasts.” Gothel answered. “That is I.” The man answered. “Alvin, his name is Alvin the treacherous.” Mildew stated form behind Gothel. “Is that supposed to impress me?” Gothel laughed. Alvin frowned towards her remark. “It’s supposed to scare you.” Alvin corrected. “Well it’s not doing you justice in the slightest.” Gothel teased. “What is your purpose of being here?” Alvin asked her. “Oh I’ll let him explain that to you.” Gothel laughed. “Him? Who?” Alvin asked. Suddenly Gothel’s shadow began to expand. It’s 2D form morphed into a 3D form. A mechanical laughter echoed. “Oh thanks for the little introduction Gothel.” Pitch laughed. “What?! Who? Where?” Alvin and his men questioned as they raised their weapons. “Oh please your small acts of rebellion are in vain.” Pitch stated as he waved his hand causing a wave of black sand to knock there weapons away. “Who dares to challenge Alvin the treacherous?!” Alvin questioned. “Oh relax I’m not here to fight you Alvin. I’ve heard a lot about you. You envy the island Berk because they have the Dragon whisperer, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III.” Pitch explained. “That is all very true.” Alvin laughed. “How come you know so much about me, and I so little of you?” Alvin asked Pitch. “Well you can see me, so that must mean you believe in me.” Pitch stated. Alvin’s eyes widened in horror. “The Boogieman?” Alvin answered. “And we have a winner!” Pitch laughed. “What is it you want?” Alvin asked. “I want your alliance. See we have a common enemy, Hiccup.” Pitch explained. Alvin smiled evilly. “Yes we do.” Alvin laughed.  “If you help me I will help you, simple as that.” Pitch stated. “Alright, but you must agree I will get my own dragon trained and all.” Alvin said to Pitch. “I agree.” Pitch yawned. Mildew suddenly shrunk a bit. “Gothel had promised me that all dragons would be slain; now they agree to spare one?” Mildew thought to himself. Suddenly feared of betrayal and Pitch instantly knew of it. “Relax Mildew your agreement still stands.” Pitch whispered to him. Mildew relaxed a bit. “Good.” Mildew huffed.
