"Are you nervous?" Rachel asked.

"Hell yeah. This is our last chance, us Seniors, to compete. I'm gonna miss it."

"I do too. I'm gonna let you go so that you can finish getting ready for your performance. Mercedes is going to record it all for me so that I can watch it when I get out of rehearsal."

"Okay, good luck with rehearsal!"

"Good luck with Nationals! I know you guys will win!"

TIME SKIP

"You'll do great guys, we'll be in the green room watching the TV screen!" Carole called as she and Burt went to the green room with the babies so it wouldn't hurt their ears. They had come as chaperones for the trip to LA.

"Now, last years Nationals champions, The New Directions!"

When the music for the last song started, Carole gasped.

"This was Finn's favorite song. They're doing all of his favorite songs."

After the final song, Sam held up Finn's drumsticks in his hand, high in the air.

TIME SKIP

"And the winner of the 2014 Nationals competition is...from Lima, Ohio, The New Directions!" Sam accepted the trophy and he wanted to cry he was so relieved and happy. When they went back to their green room, Sam immediately gave the trophy off to some one else and hugged Carole tightly. She hugged him back and rubbed his back.

"I can't believe we won." He said.

"But you did. And your performance was amazing. All of them. Finn would have been proud." He pulled back and she saw tears running down his face. She gave him a small smile and wiped them away.

"We won this for Finn." He said and she nodded, smiling. She hugged him again.

"I know he's proud of you, especially, Sam. You lead them like he would have done."

"I'm not Finn, but I tried my best. I really did."

"And it paid off sweetie. I'm so proud of you."
