I'm sorry I'm taking long to update, May is a very busy month for me.

**Author's POV**

Winter Break wasn't nearly as long as it should have been. The boys were relishing that they had one more day left but dreading the day after. Jimin and Jungkook could not be separated for the rest of the break. Taehyung talked with Hoseok about their parents lifting the charges, a weight visibly lifted off his shoulders. He kept it a secret that Yugyeom ratted them out. He wanted Hoseok to be stress free but he knew deep down that he just wanted to take care of Yugyeom on his own terms. "Let's go out today." Hoseok pulls him out of his thoughts, softly caressing his hand. "I won't see you as much, considering they haven't reinstated me yet."

His mind was still reeling back to the jerk, Yugyeom. "S-Sure. We'll do that then." Focusing on the objects behind his boyfriend, his eyes wander.

"Are you ok? You haven't been yourself lately..."

Scared of him catching on, he responds quickly. "Yes! I'm fine. Let's go out. Maybe... to the park?" It was the only thing that came to his mind at the moment.

Hoseok wasn't blind. He could see that the younger was distant. But he hoped Taehyung would tell him his problems whenever he was ready. "Great! We'll have a picnic."

The birds haven't come back, it was still winter. Only fools would hang out in the park with only the wind to accompany them. Fools in love maybe. At least, that's what Taehyung thought. "Are you cold? Do you want my gloves?"

Hoseok was too caring at times. It only made him feel worse that he was keeping a secret from him. "I'm fine." It tore him up inside, worse since they never keep secrets from one another. He knew Hoseok never did. "Can we clean up now? The eating part of the picnic is done."

Hobi didn't mind that he was trying to rush things, he knew Tae was putting on a brave face but was still cold. "Sure... And then we can walk around." He wanted Taehyung to admit it though.

"Yeah..." The fact that Taehyung didn't argue scared him a little. What is going on inside his head? Hoseok thought. He was sure that if the trial was over, there would be no more worries. Unless, he- "Hoseok?" Now Taehyung was interrupting the thought process, one that was going down a deep, dark abyss.

"Yes, uh... walking." They had everything packed, heading to the car to unload before they continue their journey.

To be honest, Hoseok had started to doubt... certain things. He wondered if being around each other too long meant that Taehyung had started to grow tired of him. Or that he realized he didn't need to be with someone as old as him, he could have definitely done better. Not that Hoseok was old but... let's be honest, Taehyung could get whoever he wanted. He was worried that with the age Tae was, he wouldn't be as mature for the long, committed relationship that he had planned for them. To make it worse, Taehyung was barely talking with him. He couldn't help but feel insecure.

They walked for 10 minutes in silence, each with their own worries and doubts. Of course fate or God or destiny or whatever you believe in, had to intervene with their lives. The couple had to walk the same path as the two friends coming their way. Taehyung had to look up and see the younger boy with his friend, Jungkook's sister, and he felt the anger control him again. He could feel his legs take him faster towards the root of his problems, his hand grabbing the younger's collar, shaking him roughly.
