Chapter 13: Hiku's POV

"Mmm! Thanks for the ice cream, Legend!"

I sighed and rolled my eyes as me and Iku sat down at a table while she ate her ice cream...

"I hope you realize there is a lot more you gotta do for me!"

My eyes widen

"M-more?! C'mon, what I did wasn't THAT bad!"

"Hey you lied to me! How long have you kept it from me exactly?? Let's see here....we've been in here for about almost 2 years so far......so about a year or so?"

I sighed...

"Alright fine...."

She finished her ice cream and stood up.

"I don't have to carry you now, do I?"

"Nope! You can take a break! Besides, I don't want you all tired and complaining!"

I sighed and stood up...at least now I don't have to carry her again....

She walked up to Orochi and Yujin.

"We're leaving now, are you two coming?"

"Nah we're gonna stay behind. Probably just hang out. But we'll see you both back at the inn!"

she nodded to them and took my hand and she ran towards the center of town, pretty much dragging me along...she called all of the player's attention to us, which made me blush a little bit...

"All of you should know this player, correct?"

I put on my Hood quickly but she took it off....most of the players nodded and seemed confused....

"Well now you'll witness this legend....

Kiss me!"

I blushed a lot and looked at her confused...

"H-hey what are you saying?!"

She looked at me and smiled...

"Right on my lips, Hiku!"

Now I know never to lie to her......

This drew attention to many more players....this might be going too far....

"Y-you're joking Iku....r-right??"

"Nope! Serious!"

I blushed and looked down...

"Hey, come on! You took on that boss, right? This should be nothing!"

I looked at her and tried to give puppy eyes...

"Nope! Not gonna work!"

I sighed and walked up closer to her. She looked up at me and I could notice that she was definitely blushing...wait a minute.....

"Wait, who here would like to see us duel instead?!"

All of the players raised their voices, and cheered loudly...

"W-what?! No! Hiku no!"

I smiled and looked at her.

"Don't worry you can smack me around all you want later."

I sent Iku a duel request. Iku looked at me and smirked. She declined my request and turned to the crowd.

"Instead, one person of my random choosing will fight him!"

My eyes widen. That's pretty smart.....she went towards the crowd and wondered how she would pick...

"Hmmm....how about the one that seems the most deadly!"
