Avatia's POV

The silence was deafening. We've been in this car for about 15 minutes and I couldn't take it anymore. "Where are we heading to?"

Roberto looked at me for a split second before diverting all his attention to the road. We were heading downtown but I needed to know exactly where he was taking me too.

" 'Berto?"

"Downtown. " I could hear the 'duh' tone which caused me to roll my eyes. The only thing I'm good at.

"I know. Where exactly?" I didn't fail to emphasize my own 'duh'

"Like I told you, I'm not kidnapping you. No need to be scared. " he answered like it was the most obvious thing.

This guy. I just shut up and looked out at the amazing buildings of New York. I mean, back at Ohio we've got great buildings too but New York, its the bomb. The car pulled to a stop and my mouth hung open as I took in the sight in front of me. This has to be the most beautiful house I've ever seen. The hotel-like building was spectacular. Adam owns all this?

"Little one, we should go in, you know, meet the boss? " Roberto said, more like asked, causing me to snap out of my thoughts. Who ever owns this house, no doubt, is a filthy billionaire. We walked up the stairs, passing a very beautiful and large pool. Roberto entered a code on a pad I never noticed and the door automatically opened.

"Wowwwww" I exclaimed like a 4 year old who went to Disney land for her first time.

Roberto had this amused look on his face as he shook his head softly. "You know, you really look like a baby but I expected a more mature character behind the looks. Now I know you really are a little one."

I walked to the floor length window and admired the view of the environment. That reminds me. "So what's my job here. This isn't an office and this house is---"

"Can you cook?" He asked.

I shook my head a little. "I can try."

"Wrong answer. Its supposed to be a yes or no. How can you work in an office if you can't answer a simple question. " Roberto was talking as he typed something on his phone.

I had more time to look at him. He's a hunk. No shaking on that. He smirked as he noticed me staring and cocked his eyebrows waiting for an answer. "Hey! Don't underestimate me. I can type and I know a lot about marketing and management. I took a course in business management and now, when I enroll in NYU, I'm gonna major in it. There! Anyways, Adam wouldn't stress me up." I pointed out and smiled at my victory. "One point for me. Zero for you"

He just smiled and continued with what he was doing.

"Where's this boss? We've been here for a good-----"

"8 minutes, 31 seconds?" I heard the unmistakable Italian accent from the staircase. I was so scared to face Mr. Black. Its him. I know it's him. "Roberto, excuse us. "

My goodness, Roberto tricked me. This wasn't Adam's house. I'll deal with him later for lying to me. From where I stood, I couldn't see him exit. I only heard the sound of the door opening and closing. Mr. Black cleared his throat and I took that as my cue to face him. I slowly turned around and my breathing stopped. Mr. Black seemed to get hotter and handsome every second. His silver eyes, the most beautiful shade to look at and the black tee he wore did no mercy in hiding his abs and muscles. If Draya were here, she'd be drooling. Well, I am too, but on the inside. Going back up, his jet black hair looked so soft. Oh my goodness, where did I take the courage to openly stare at a man? I am so getting spoilt. Mom's not going to be happy if she found out. "Are you done staring, princess?" He asked smugly.
