Don't go

Jimin covers his mouth with the back of his hand as he yawns, bringing the same hand to his eyes after to clear them of their sleepy fog. He slumps back into his chair, legs crossed and arms coming to fold over his lap. He's been waiting for hours, watching the bustle of busy people, who take their careers comfortingly serious, pass him in the hallway. Jimin snaps his head towards the sound of the entrance door every time it opens, only wishing to find one person to appear from behind it.

To say he misses Jungkook would be the understatement of the century. He longs for him, even to just hear his voice. Asking to call him left him empty handed with his dwindling hope for his wish to be granted only giving him more anxiety. Jimin can't help but feel heavy without his boyfriend. He closes his eyes, but his head is too messy to relax. The bright lights over him give him a sense of comfort, only in the way that they cast out the dark thoughts of his mind when he blinks his tired eyes open again.

Jimin reaches into his pocket instinctively, meaning to check the time so that he can calculate how long he's been waiting now. It's empty, and he remembers that his phone was confiscated by the authorities who claimed it as evidence of Yugyeom's crime. As if they didn't already have enough. Jimin still can't understand Yugyeom's change of heart, how sudden it came upon him. He's thankful that the man seemed to have come to his senses, even if it was just enough for him to let himself be caught.

Yugyeom is troubled, Jimin knows that much. He knows something really awful must have happened to him to create such a demeanor. He asked about Yugyeom, swallowing the surprise in the officers eyes as he did, but was left yet again without a solid answer. He doesn't know why he cares, but he does. He doesn't know why it matters at all what happened to Yugyeom after what happened to him, but it does.

The entry door swings open, knocking into a small bell at the top border of it. The chime interrupts Jimin's attempt of mentally sorting through theories in his head. He glances at the door from his slouched position and his lips part, a breath of air passing them in a huff. His tired limbs feel electrified as Jimin springs to his feet. Jungkook is handsome, even with a frown pulling down his eyes. He pushes out his arms towards the taller man approaching him quickly and sinks into the familiar smell of his boyfriend's oversized hoodie when the weight of Jungkook's body crushes against his own.

With Jimin's arms around his middle, Jungkook lets his whines muffle into the smallers fluffy hair. He doesn't think before hugging him tighter, turning his head to press a drawn out kiss to Jimin's temple.

Jimin nudges his face into the crook of Jungkook's neck and heaves a sigh. His fingers claw at the back of the others shirt. Jungkook is shaking, he can feel it against him. He knows that he's crying and it's breaking his heart. The agony of not knowing what could of happened to him is something Jimin can understand. He sneaks a few of his fingers underneath the bottom hem of Jungkook's shirt, rubbing small circles against Jungkook's bare skin on his back to try and comfort him.

Jungkook pulls away and his hands find either side of Jimin's face. His eyes are wet as he brushes his thumbs over the apples of the others cheeks. "Are you okay?" He whispers, but his voice is already hoarse. He trails his hands down to Jimin's shoulders slowly, eyes following his movements. They continue their search, seeking out anything different on the bare skin he can find before Jimin has time to muster up an answer.

"I'm okay now, baby." Jimin's voice cracks. He lifts his own hands to wipe away the tears leaking from his boyfriends worried eyes, lightly pinching the man's chin to lead his stare back up to his face. He catches the defined lines on Jungkook's forehead and they make him sad. He must have worried so much. "I'm really okay." He whispers, trying his best to flash him his brightest smile. He wants to lay down in Jungkook's bed and kiss away the entire memory of what happened, take away every bit of concern still featuring in the man's expression.

Jungkook nods, but it's not genuine. Jimin's smile is only hiding something that's hurting him, and even if it's not physical, he needs to find out what it is. He needs to be the one that will heal it. "Stay with me." Jungkook mutters. He watches Jimin's smile falter into confusion before a tiny head nod becomes an answer.

"I'll always stay with you." Jimin drops his smile when new tears form in Jungkook's eyes. Unwelcome pressure pulls away Jimin's attention and he looks over to notice the other familiar faces in the room. His mother wipes at her eyes and leans closer to him to hug him from the side. Hoseok appears from behind her to offer a saddened smile in his direction. His father waits closer to the door, watching him from afar.

"We're going to talk to the people in charge here for a minute, and then we'll leave." Jimin's mother informs him, her tone soft as if she were talking to a child. She gives his shoulder a gentle squeeze before letting go.

Jimin smiles past her at Hoseok, opening one of his arms for the other to hug him. His friend looks almost as disheartened as his boyfriend and Jungkook's previous words still seem off putting. He ignores it for a moment, sighing between them. When his parents are out of ear shot, disappearing behind a heavy wooden door, Jimin whispers, "I don't know why, but I didn't expect to see my parents show up. I didn't even think about them." Jungkook wraps his arm around Jimin's waist and presses his hip into the smaller boys. To Jimin, the action seems territorial and he wonders if it's about Hoseok, because he hugged him. He looks up at his boyfriend and frowns. Jungkook's jaw is tight, his expression stern again. Jimin's forehead wrinkles with concern.

"They came to take you back with them." Hoseok mumbles. He steals a glance at Jungkook's reaction, noticing when the other closes his eyes.

Jimin turns to his friend, eyes growing wider. "What? To live with them?"

Hoseok nods.

"No. I'm not doing that. I'm staying here." His head snaps back to find Jungkook's closed eyes. He grabs the mans upper arm, squeezing it lightly. "Baby?"

Jungkook breaths out through his nose. He bites his lip and leans closer to Jimin's face before opening his eyes. Their noses brush against each other and Jungkook sighs. "I don't want you to go, Mochi. Stay with me."

I apologize again for the late updates and all, everything is perfectly fine I've just been lacking motive to write, or rather to pull myself away from everything involving this comeback. Hot100 guys!~ We made it, BTS did that. Army did that. I'm so excited and proud ^^

I'll be updating more often, I plan for that anyway. I've run into a few obstacles with the apps that I use to update actually, but I'm hoping it's all sorted out now~ I love you guys!
