"I haven't gone to visit Tae's brother at all. TaeTae is there, right?" Jimin smiles, footsteps lifting his spirits again as they clack against a sidewalk adjacent to the last location. He glances over his shoulder, making sure to leave himself with a lasting memory of calm when thinking of the place. Maybe it won't haunt him anymore now, that night he can't ever forget. Maybe he can see it for what it is, an underwhelming slab of concrete that lacks the commotion of walking bodies. Even so, Jimin is enthralled to leave it behind. He's still going to give Jungkook a piece of his mind for making him return, but crooked emotions put aside, he can see some good in it after all.

Hoseok's hands move to occupy his empty pockets, eyes watching the ground. He falls back into the act of mystery, smirking slightly and humming as if he hasn't all the answers himself. "Where are we going, Chim?" His response is the anticipated roll of Jimin's eyes. He laughs when the smile is too persistent to hold it back any longer.

"Stop acting like you don't know." Jimin initiates a soft voiced debate, tone forcefully aggravated. He's not aggregated at all, not upset in the least. Honest relief trickles through his muscles, slowly relaxing them and turning his senses back off guard. The day has gone by quickly thus far, through a series of curious adventure and reliving good and not so great experiences. But, Jimin knows Jungkook better than he knows anyone, and Jungkook has something big planned for him. Hoseok knows exactly what it is, Jimin would bet his life on it. "You know everything already."

Hoseok snorts, shaking his head. "I'm flattered, but I don't." He's not sure how honest he should be, but deems it safe enough to reveal just a good sliver of information, hoping to save Jimin's mental from certain implosion. "I know where to take you, and what to do when we get to the last location. I know the plan, Chim, but I don't know everything."

"Tell me what you know."

"That's not happening."

Jimin's face scrunches at the denial, but he huffs away the harsh lines of agonizing curiosity, replacing them with a pout. "Fine." The younger agrees quickly, knowing that his friend isn't going to budge on this one. Choosing to cave into the everlasting aura of mystery that engulfs the day, Jimin finds his smile once more. "But, the least you can do is tell me when I get a clue correct, deal?"

Hoseok grins, grabbing his friend closer by the shoulders and tucking him under his arm as they shuffle along. "Deal, but only if you comply with the game from now on. Trust the locations and trust Jungkook's decisions to make them one."

The sound of willing defeat shows itself in a sigh. Jimin bites his bottom lip to suppress a laugh. "Deal. I'll do my best." He ducks out of Hoseok's looped arm and chuckles playfully when the other turns to reach for him, attempting to make disciplinary contact. Jimin shakes his head, the smile plastered on his face nearly touching his ears as laughter vibrates through his lips. Hoseok's mocking chuckle follows, full of disbelief at the sudden absurdity of the situation.

"Yah, this is your best?" Hoseok starts to scold, but the laughter that lingers in his throat morphs the delivery of his words.

Jimin missed this, his friend and their antics together. He missed making Hoseok laugh, the bond they formed through years of laughing so hard their bellies would ache, jokes no one else would understand. He grabs Hoseok's arm and the giggles calm down, but the pleasant aura between them remains, keeping them both above any negativity of the past and the reminder of lost time spent with one another. The here and now is what Jimin wants to start living for, and today is a good day to begin.

Taehyung's hugs always remind Jimin of family, the way lanky arms come around him with purpose and care. He watches the taller greet his boyfriend, glancing away when their bodies draw closer to one another. Jimin's eyes find the boy in the center of the room, attention taken by loose balls of lint on the bedsheets. He doesn't look up when Jimin approaches his side, barely seeming to take notice of anything at all.
